Perfect mini purse/wallet
I purchased this off the whim when I went into REI to pick up a backpack I ordered online & I’m so glad I did! Updated my old keychain wallet to this Kavu Renrose. I can fit not only all my cards, but my iPhone actually fits as well. If you don’t have a bulky case, it will definitely fit a cell phone. Although the sling rope is long, you can make knots to make it shorter. The wrist sling is an added bonus! There is also an outside pocket on the back opposite side of the logo.
Cute but not Functional
This is really cute and nicely made. However, it does NOT fit a Samsung Galaxy phone in a case. It's pretty useless if you can't carry your phone along with your keys and cards.
Beautiful and durable, but small
I’m happy with this wallet bag overall, but I wish it was bigger. I love the succulents pattern, the convertible concept, and the overall durability. But it’s honestly pretty small for a wallet, which is probably ideal for travel as long as you’re carrying a purse or have big pockets. I wish the whole wallet was bigger, with more card slots and space for a phone, and I wish it opened up wider. I can’t fit my iPhone in the bag, and I can’t fit all my cards in the credit card slots. My passport just barely fits. I’m making it work but it’s challenging at times.
Just right!
I bought this on a shopping mission for a friend. She requested a small zip pouch sort of bag for just a few essentials that she could transfer from gym bag to purse to tote bag or carry on its own. This was perfect for her, and the bright pattern makes it easy to spot in a bag or lying on the counter.

My wife bought me this for my birthday because I would walk around with a bible that would stretch and ruin my pockets. At first, I thought it a bit silly, but I quickly grew to love it. Love the pockets, the space, the different sleeves for each card, the back pocket and I attach my keys to the lanyard so everything is on it because I would misplace things before. I will use this for the rest of my life most likely and it is great.
Love the crossbody strap & fits all necessities!
I bought this little bag last night and it is exactly what I have been searching for! I am using the crossbody strap, the bag is so light! It fits all my cards/license, money, keys, chapstick, a pen, and my iphone mini. And I can just throw it in my beach bag or backpack without it taking up tons of space. It is well made!

Not particularly elegant or slick, but totally functional, useful. Provides what I wanted: a wallet size bag with removable wrist and/or over the shoulder strap
Kavu Penrose Streamlines Carrying Essentials
The Kavu Penrose is a great portable size for going to clubs or other places where streamlined bags are handy. I purchased the Dark Graphite color, which does not show stains and goes with everything, although I do like Kavu's colorful fabric patterns. I do not plan to use the Penrose to carry a phone, which simplifies size issues for me. Sturdy construction and material, well-designed and robust strap clips, and two handy zip pockets for organizing contents.
Cute wallet but not a purse
I bought this wallet for a trip, thinking that I could carry my phone, sunglasses, and wallet contents. Not only do my sunglasses not fit, but I had to fight to fit a Field Notes pocket notebook in there! I'm not sure what the perfect use case is for this bag, but it's not "After dinner stroll into town for ice cream" or grocery shopping.
Don’t hesitate!
This bag is adorable, especially for the price. I ordered the one with succulents and the colors are beautiful. It just fits my phone, keys, credit card, driver’s license. The strap is pretty long so I knotted it for the perfect cross body length.
