They show every bulge
Although the shorts fit fine,( large) they were a most unattractive look on this size 12 woman over 60. I think they would be great on a younger woman with a perfect body.

I lovvvve these shorts! I liked the green ones so much I bought them in black as well. They fit perfect and are light weight so perfect for even the hottest of days. I highly recommend them. I bought one size up.
Really nice shorts
I love these shorts, so lightweight, comfortable and flattering. The hidden pocket zipper pooches out, tho, when I sit down. Not a deal breaker!!

Great stretch but fit only for a lean customer
I have some Prana Koen pants, which are fine. I have several MH Dyneema pants/capris, which are great. So I thought these Prana Koen shorts would be good, too, like those. Nope! I'm sure they will work for somebody (probably somebody thin). On me they are as attractive as Saran Wrap. I guess I could try a size up but I'd rather give up now and get other shorts. The main problem is the relationship between the comfortable and thick stretchy band and the lower fabric do not create the flowy goodness that perhaps they should. Instead they make my legs look odd and fat. That lower fabric is super stretchy but also kind of thin and clingy. I don't think this is the same lower fabric as the Koen pants I have. The brown color is nice.
Great for biking and hiking
I was comfortable biking for 3 hours in the shorts (knee length). Knee length helps protect my skin without as much sunscreen and bug spray. The pockets were deep enough to hold my keys and phone. I then walked my usual 2 miles and they were comfortable. They didn't absorb water while walking in the rain.
Perfect fit for me!
Finally a pair of bottoms with a "just right" rise - no hanging crotch nor waistband up to my bra. Thank you Prana! Love these!
