I would size up 1-2 sizes
Excited to try this out! I have a thin top and bottom I've used for years but need a more serious suit for cold water swimming with my pups. I am typically a 4 or a 6. I couldn't move my arms in a 6. I sized up to an 8 and it's the perfect tight fit. 125 5'5 kinda athletic.
It was good...when I went down a size
I bought this suit online. Wetsuit sizing is a hard when you're thin and tall. They all recommend going by height as the most important size guide. The problem is, the rest of the wetsuit is way too big size wise. I finally opted for a size 6 due to the height (for reference I'm 5'7'' and 105 lbs, 32" hips, 23" waist, 30" bust). Needless to say there way A LOT of excess material through the hip and butt. It would have been highly uncomfortable and chaffy. I returned it for a size 4 which if you go by the height measurements would have been way to short. Turns out it fits pretty well height wise and much better through the hips and butt. It is a great thickness and very warm. Granted I haven't used it in super cold water yet, but it has worked well in the 50ish degree water so far.
Tight in Arms
I agree with other review - very warm but the body is so long when wet I could hardly walk out of the water. I'm on the smaller size for the recommended charts and the sleeves are very constricting at the armpit. I'm glad exchanges are good at REI - it's hard to buy a wetsuit online
