I selected this pack after trying several. I love how lightweight it is. It fits well and carries well. Easy to adjust. Unfortunately the lower compression straps are sewn to the snack pockets on the waist band and the stitching separated (actually audibly tore apart) the very first time I used the compression strap. The other side looks weak already as well and I will have to return this pack for failure.
This is a great pack. It’s lighter than some other options and it carries very comfortably. I can pack out at 30 pounds and not suffer from the weight at all. I removed the brain (removable) as I don’t need it or use it, which shaved off a few more ounces
Excellent pack, carries and distributes well. Easy to adjust. Unfortunately the compression strap ripped from the belt the first time I used it. The main compression straps are stitched directly to the side of the snack pocket on the belt. The other side strap also looks lik it is about the pull from the belt. Could be a manufacturing weakness (bad stitching). Unfortunately it ripped before a big trip, but because I was remot I had not choice to use it. I would have kept this lightweight bag aside from this flaw.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would love to give this pack a good review, unfortunately, of the two sizes available, neither of them fit me. With a 19-1/2" torso, I fall somewhere between the two sizes. When I follow the directions to fit the XS pack, the hip belt sits above my hips, around my waist. When I fit the M/L pack, it is too large overall, with gaps between me and the shoulder straps. I purchased both sizes and had to return both. I will be buying a different brand of pack that fits me properly.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this purchase! Haven't used it yet but looks like exactly what I need for upcoming backpacking trips. Lots of storage and pockets. Can't wait to use it this summer.
I ended up returning because of the fit. It wasn't very comfortable for carrying 30 plus pounds. With the help of an employee, I ended up switching to the aerial.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Worked out great. Feels wonderful, fits everything I needed. Love it.
