Love at first wear

I was searching for a coat when I found myself in Boulder without a warm layer. I went to several stores that specialize in outerwear, and this was by far my favorite. I love the fit, warmth, and bright colors, and the company’s commitment to environmental responsibility. It was the perfect jacket for a concert at Red Rocks!

Absolutely perfect for trekking!The most

I purchased the Capa Insulated Jacket - Women's and it exceeded all my expectations. It's lightweight, warm, and super comfortable, making it the perfect companion for all my trekking adventures. I was impressed by how well it regulates temperature—keeps me warm without feeling overheated, even while on the move. The design is sleek and functional. It packs down easily and doesn’t take up much space in my backpack. Plus, it dries quickly and does a great job repelling moisture. Definitely a must-have for anyone who loves being outdoors without carrying extra weight. I highly recommend it! This was an excellent purchase and it’s now an essential part of my gear.

Twinning 💜🩷

Love! I purchased this beaut, visited my twin sis states away, and she was wearing a similar Cotopaxi (one with the hood). I have worn the same Patagonia Nano Puff for over 10 years. I loved that jacket, wore it all conditions, and was ready for a change. This Cotopaxi fits the bill perfectly! The size is spot on. I’m 5’4” and bounce between 125-140 lbs. Plenty of room for fleece underneath and an excellent under-coat layering option for cold ski days. Length is great. And the colors make the cake. Vibrant. Complementary. Fun. And bring a smile like a sunset. Hope to get just as many years and use in this jacket.

Deceptively light and perfectly warm.

This sucker came in a tiny little bag and I was wondering if I had made a huge mistake and was going to freeze to death--NOPE! It's a deceptively light, incredibly warm, super pretty, joy of a little jacket to wear. It has kept me warm in zero degrees and hasn't melted me in low 50s. I love it and am now addicted to Cotopaxi.

Love it!

The colors are fun and bright. It's very lightweight but seems like it will be warm jacket with layers. A little boxy, but that gives room to comfortably wear a sweatshirt/sweater under it. They sleeves are long, which I like. But that might not work for shorter people. I went with a small and I am 5'7", about 116 lbs. I could have gone with an XS if I wanted it more fitted. But I'm happy with it. Now I can't wait for the weather to get cooler!

Perfect synthetic jacket

Once I saw the gold colored version, I could not stop thinking about it! I wanted a synthetic option to add to my collection for those wet conditions, and I love this non hooded option for shoulder season or winter hiking because I often find myself wearing a hat and never using the hood. So, saves weight in the pack and gives me a different look style-wise. I just love all things Cotopaxi! Also, I got an XL when I run somewhere all around that size, and it fit perfectly. I'm 6' tall and it was long enough for my arms and not too big on the hips for my straighter, average body style.

Wish the jacket fit better!

My ordering and return experience were great, and I was so excited to get this jacket I had been eyeing. But like other reviews have stated, the fit is just not flattering. I'm so bummed, I really wanted to love it. I got a large and my hips are about 40" so it fit just right at the bottom. But the whole middle waist area is cut too wide and the sleeves were even baggy, so it's frumpy looking. I can't go down a size or the hip is much too small. I wish the womens' jacket had a smaller waist, and I'm not even small in the waist.

Super warm but lightweight

The Capa is the perfect combination of warmth but without the bulk. Don't let the thinness fool you because it really traps in the heat and keeps the wind and chill away. It's highly packable and takes up such little space. I was so impressed because I wasn't sure how warm this would be but it does the job and then some. What I really love is the extended sizes. I usually wear Patagonia but am really tired of their inconsistent AND limited sizing. I wear an XXL in Cotopaxi and it gives me a lot of room to layer without feeling like the Michelin man. I also find Cotopaxi's cut a bit more forgiving now that there are extended sizes. Previously, their XL can sometimes run small so I'm glad Cotopaxi is being much more inclusive now. Love the colors, the individuality, and keeping things fun while DOING GOOD.
