I’m someone who has always loved being outside; hiking, camping, etc. But I have never been hardcore or owned a hydro pack, so I never allowed myself to buy actual outdoor gear….until now! I decided to take a chance on these pants, and omg am I obsessed. They’re ridiculously comfy, easy to move in, and I love the option to bunch the bottoms. Plus to my absolute surprise, they didn’t snag on half the things my usual hiking pants did. (In arizona, all the plants are out to get you.) I will definitely be buying more of these.
I took away one star only because if I could have I would have bought one size smaller XXS if they had that as an option, but because of the ties I can generally make the XS work. The only other thing I am not too crazy about is the extra fabric in the hips because I am very slender and do not fill it out all. Because this is more for outdoor activities I am not being very picky about a perfect fit. Length is slightly long for me since I’m short but not past the bottom of my foot and the bungies help ( the pants do make a little bit of sound since I am flat footed and my knees slightly touch when walking). I have room for double layering in cold weather if needed. Other than that I love the color and material. This is the second pair of pants I own from Cotopaxi and both are quite similar in fit and the exact same size.
I love Subo pant! I got it in Small Chesnut. I’ve worn it to work, hike and yoga. Proven to be stretchy and flexible without being baggy after. The fabric is soft and has a nice feel to it. It makes subtle noise when I walk, nothing unpleasant. My butt looks good in it. Highly recommend this pant, got the fit and function right!
I’ve never owned hiking pants but wanted to get a pair for spf protection and comfort in the heat vs yoga pants. These pants are adorable and fit great (ordered XS, I’m 5’3” and 110 lbs). I love the length with my hiking boots and that I can roll them up as well. I’ll def be wearing them around town because I love them so much!
What the title says, basically 👆 I love the athletic, on the go feel and look of them. I love where the waistline of the pants sits, can be mid or low rise depending on what you're feeling. The XS for me perfectly, I'm 5'2" 119 pounds. I'm into the blue color also, though if they came in black I will say without hesitation they would be the only pants I would wear.
I love these pants. I have them in orange (my favorite color) and I’ve hiked in them a lot. The pockets are as large as my entire hand (over 4 inches deep). I’m going to climb the Andes mountains on the 28 mile Inca trail in them in January. The thing that cinches the leg ripped off in the washing machine (idk how it happened bc I am gentle washing my good stuff). I contacted the company and they had me send it in and fixed them for free. Whoever fixed them reinforced the other leg string too so now I feel like they’re super secure and nice. It feels like my own grandma fixed them for me, I love it. I want these to come out in more colors like that light blue/purple color that’s so popular and maybe some colorblock. Make them in more unique colors bc they’re awesome pants. I’m 5’6, 135lb, in my mid-20s athletic build and the mediums fit me great when I use the string to cinch them a little. The smalls would be too tight for my hiking preference.
Bought these for spring/summer hiking and traveling. Love the orange color! They are comfy and fit pretty well, I’m in between sizes Sm and Med and chose to size up. I’d rather have them a bit big than too small. They’ll get a lot of use this summer!
These pants are well constructed, and the material feels really nice. If you fall within the size measurements, I would 100% recommend them. My only complaint is that they only have 1 back pocket - and you will not be able to get your phone in there. However, I wasn’t able to test them in the long run. I had to return them because these pants ARE true to size / size guide is correct for the XS. But there’s no XXS option :( I thought I’d give them a try anyway, but as someone with very narrow hips (31”), these are way too roomy in that area and it looks like you’re wearing some sort of balloon pants. If you do have regular/wider hips, they would be extremely cute. But I wish these were offered in more inclusive sizing.
Absolutely love these pants! Got the orange ones. Size large. Fit as expected. Super soft and stretchy!
I love how comfortable these pants are. And they are great to wear to work.
