Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated.

Wonderful hoodie
I got this fleece hoodie on clearance, Omg what a Steal of a deal. Nice and warm, in fact I was wearing it on Dante’s Peak over looking the Badwater lake in Death Valley and it was Cold up there. It has a little stash pocket in the back for gloves or watch cap which is a nice touch. The hood goes around your head and it zips up to your mouth, again, well thought out design. All in all you cannot go wrong with this especially on clearance.
Runs big, super comfortable
Excellent collaboration with a great organization! I bought this a couple weeks ago. As others mention it runs a little big, look at the size chart. For reference I got a L and typically wear XL, 5’10” & 230lbs with a muscular build. The fleece is super comfortable and the king zipper pulls are a nice touch. There are three things I would change in this design but they wouldn’t make me return it. 1) Add a cinch for the hood. The hood is a nice big hood that would fit helmets, etc but a cinch would be helpful. 2) A loop on the neck to hang the garment with. REI typically doesn’t include this so it wasn’t expected. 3) Have the inner part of the front pouch be fleece instead of mesh for a place to warm your hands.
Beautiful color scheme. Runs big.
Beautiful color scheme in a fairly straight forward pullover hoody soft fleece. The zippers are solid, and the hood on the large size, well big enough to fit over any cap. If you are unsure on the size, and can't get to an REI to try one on, I recommend you buy one size smaller than you think. The design is loose on purpose, but I normally wear a large, and the medium fit me just fine with a little room left over.
Not Great
I got it on sale for under 30 bucks. It’s worth that, but definitely not worth the full price of 90. The hood is huge. It blows off my head in even the slightest wind. I have a shaved head, but don’t have that problem with any other hoods. When it does stay on, it does little to insulate because it’s so big. Other than that, it’s a decent pullover. It’s not as warm as a normal hoodie and seems to breathe well. I’d really like it if there was a cinch on the hood or if the hood was just not there. It is though, so it’s just wasted weight.
Fleece Revamped
Love this new fleece, truthfully. I was hesitant at first seeing the mixed reviews on the fabric but it’s honestly really comfy and not abrasive to my skin. Secondly, the sizing - like most others say, yes it does run big. I am 6’0, usually get a large but the medium is perfect for me so keep that in mind. Lastly, I read complaints about the hood, when zipped up, I’m obsessed bc it covers more of your face region then a usual hoodie but I think it’s perfect for colder moments and it simply looks cool this way. Unzipped is more of the “eh” as the hope is a bit big but not to the point where it’s overly concerning. Love the pockets and the detail of the zippers. Def recommend if you’re looking for a more unique fleece as this is truly that.
Super comfortable, runs quite large
Definitely one of my comfiest pieces of outerwear. The fleece is soft and I love the colors. And the glove pocket in the back is a nice touch. The only thing I’d change is the front pocket material, it’s a slick mesh pouch instead of fleece. It’d be nice for it to also be fleece to keep your hands warmer. I will also say it runs quite large. I usually wear an XL but bought a large after seeing some other reviews all saying it ran big, and the Large size is still a bit too big. Works great if you want an oversized fit though.
Material is harsh on the skin
Would not recommend this because the material feels abrasive. Cool color palate and design but I feel like they went cheap on the material. Does not feel soft at all, they feel like the cheap Costco microfiber cloths for washing your car.
My EVERYDAY hoodie
I'm a woman and I purchased this because it has a hood. This pullover is well made, warm, and soft. I walk my dog in this fleece daily. I love it! It is a bit pricey, but the quality is there and I am all for supporting Outdoor Afro. I love the pockets and the white, blue, and yellow print. The hood part does zip up high, but I like it because it keeps my chin and lips warm. Shipping was fast. Loved it so much, I bought another one for a friend.
Sizing WAY OFF. Runs large.
These hoodies are sweet. Color palate is awesome. Sizing is WAY OFF. Runs mega large. I am a L/XL in every other clothing brand on the planet. I fit into a medium nicely in these. I love the Medium Tall option as I have long arms and it makes these fit great. I have a few of these in Medium Tall and they all are cut a little different on sizing, Super weird, quality control is abysmal..
A good fleece for fall activities and hikes.
Sizing reviews are accurate. I'm usually an XL to be comfortable. An L is generous with some width room and it has a longer arm length. I'm 6', 210 lbs. Wear wise, it's a good light to mid weight fleece for layering or under a shell. This is going to be a go to for fall kayaking and MTB riding, and the hood is a nice feature to just be comfy or to block wind. The back patch is a pocket so you can carry some light gear and the front pockets are connected, kangaroo style which is nice for holding a bunch of stuff. It's not the softest fleece but I didn't buy this for fashion, I bought this for function. I also wanted to support the Outdoor Afro concept, because everyone should get outside and enjoy nature. The color I bought feels retro too like 90s outdoor gear.
