Marmot  Montreal Down Coat - Women's

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great color, comfy, fits well! I'm a size small (5'4" 125 lbs) I needed a longer jacket to keep me warm during outdoor lacrosse games.

I get cold,very easily. Wanted something warm in cold days walking the dog or watching kids soccer at night. I am 5’4” and about 126lbs . The small was a tiny bit tight on my waist and hips. But the medium was a little roomy at the shoulders. I opted for medium for more room and more layering options even though I loved the fit at the top.

I ordered this jacket back in October after our first snowfall of the season in Montana. Unfortunately since then there haven’t been too terribly many days cold enough to wear it until lately. This jacket is super warm! If it’s much above 20 degrees I get a little too warm while wearing it which really says something for me. I’m usually always cold. The sizing seems a little small in the chest and shoulders. I never know whether to order a small or medium in Marmot. I was able to try a small on in store and could zip it all the way up but it was a little too tight in the chest so I went with medium. The length is great. I like that it’s on the longer side. Hits me about mid thigh. I’m an athletic 5’6” 150 lbs 32DDD with broad shoulders from swimming and CrossFit for reference.

I had to return as the coat as it was way too big for me. People online stated it ran too small and that they had to size up. If I would've bought my normal size, I would have been fine, but unfortunately my regular size had since sold out.

This is a very warm coat. But as others noted, it is a bit tight across the shoulders / chest. I usually get a small in Marmot items, but ideally I would get a medium in this coat, particularly since I would be wearing a heavier top.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It keeps me warm and it’s fashionable. I like the look of the small but it was too tight in the shoulders and chest which isn’t ideal for layering and zipping. I returned the small for a medium. It’s a touch big but layers well.

I love this coat but it runs small if you have broad shoulders - I love it but it's way too tight around my shoulders and I am a standard M in other brands. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for that issue

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coat is warm and comfortable! Sleeve length and shoulder width are good, slightly shorter than I anticipated (barely covers hips). Very fitted (medium is hard to zip if I wear a heavy sweater underneath).

The jacket is beautiful. Why it gets 4 stars is because I always where a medium with plenty of room to wear sweaters under, and this jacket is tight around the shoulders and chest.
