Love This Jacket
I love this jacket. It easily folds into the pocket with no problem. I wear this jacket for hiking, casual wear and whenever I need a pop of color. Keeps me warm when it is cold and is still good for the fall/spring weather. I only lost a few feathers which is to be expected but that stopped after a few wears. The jacket is true to size although I did size up to have room to layer. It is worth the price

It's okay.
This jacket is warm, but not as warm as I'd expect for the construction and specs. And the ultra lightweight shell fabric makes me nervous about its durability over time. I have a similar jacket from another outdoor brand (which is criminally underrated and underrepresented — if you know you know!) and it feels warmer even though the down fill weight is exactly the same, along with feeling more durable as well. The down also clumps worse than my other down jackets when I have to wash and dry it, despite doing it the right way with Nikwax Down Wash and thorough dryer time. Plus, the fit of this jacket is snug at the hem if you have hips and a butt like I do. So, it's okay — maybe it'll work better for you than for me.

Very cozy jacket

I love how warm this jacket is against the cold. 20s and 30s (degrees Fahrenheit) no problem. I couldn’t tell from the photos if it would be bulky but I love the level of fluff. The cut and stitching help make it more attractive. I also appreciate the torso length and coverage of the rear. I’m so glad I went for bright color. The red jacket is vibrant! The outer fabric is pretty but possibly a little thin as you can almost see feather outlines. But it’s alright and might look better after I wear it a while. Overall top notch and I’d be tempted to buy another one if new colors came out. It’s wonderful to wear your mood in your choice if outerwear. This one is for happy days!

Love It

I bought 3 of these almost a year ago for my daughter and myself. We absolutely love them. We have taken 2 of them (bought the third as a backup but have not had to use it yet) on countless backpacking/camping/hiking trips in the mountains through all seasons. Most recently was a RMNP camping/snowshoeing trip a couple of days ago. They have held up GREAT! So warm and compact (love how packable they are)! Excellent for layering or stand-alone (in the right circumstances). We have washed them at least 6-7 times and they have held up wonderfully without any noticeable shedding of down and have puffed back up nicely. They are so puffy, warm, and cozy!

TOP NOTCH

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my this jacket in fall as preparation for the winter to come, and man, I’m glad I chose Marmont!! The quality is outstanding. I have other puffers, but they just don’t compare. You get amazing warmth without lots of bulk.

Great jacket; two design flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the warmth, color & fit of this jacket. I wear it under a shell for skiing. For the price point I was very disappointed in two what I see as design flaws. First, only two pockets, albeit nice roomy ones. Where are the exterior & interior large smartphone accommodating pockets? Or even one interior drop in pocket? Second, I feel insulted by the tiny (really!) interior loop for hanging. It fits over virtually nothing except a finish nail. I usually am delighted by the details on marmot products.

Warm and good-looking

I love my new down jacket, and have worn it exclusively since it arrived in early December, except for those weird 55 degree days we’ve been having. I got the navy and love the color. I love how warm it is. One thing: the inner cuffs are not reinforced with a heavier material, so my jacket ripped on one wrist when I stupidly used it to bring in wood. I duct taped it but will patch it eventually. Reinforced inner wrists would be great, though.

Love This Jacket

I bought this jacket primarily to hike in the winter in NJ and for a trip to Iceland. I wear this jacket every opportunity that I get. Lightweight but warm on cold windy days but yet on warmer days I do not become overheated. I sized up to a large to have room to layer. The ability to fold the jacket into the pocket makes easy packing in a suitcase or day backpack!. Lost a few (3) feathers in the first 2 weeks but I hear that is normal until the feathers settle. Very happy with this purchase!

Wonderful jacket!! ❤️

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted a light weight very warm down jacket for outdoor activities in cold weather. This jacket is perfect! It is soft, warm and compresses nicely for packing. I bought the peach/orange color, and it makes me smile whenever I put it on!
