I wore this jacket walking my dog during the recent Atmospheric River event that hit Seattle, and it kept me perfectly comfortable and dry. That means that this jacket will be more than capable of fending off the typical lighter showers for the rest of the winter. I am 5'9" and 162 pounds, I got the medium size, and the jacket was the perfect length, and has enough room through the body without being baggy. In fact, the fit is pretty good except the sleeves are a little wide. The jacket is breathable, stretches some, and not too warm. I bought two of these same jackets (different colors), and the navy color looks very nice! Overall, the jacket is an excellent value, and will be great for layering as the days get colder.
I'm giving this jacket 1 star because of the logo on it. I bought this off the website not seeing that it has a gigantic "Columbia" logo on one side - I mean a really gigantic logo. It's bad enough that this company and others think that their customers like being walking advertisements for them after they've already forked over big bucks for their products, and so I do my best to buy clothing that is logo-free. But to think we want to be walking billboards is completely disrespectful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved this jacket and give it 5 stars but it is not a unisex jacket like it stated. I am petite and hopeful it would fit and it was too long. However, it fit one of my sons perfectly that’s 5 foot 5 and I think it would also be amazing in the grey and black. I would definitely recommend this product because it is well made and a beautiful cobalt blue.
Great looking jacket. I've always loved how Columbia's jackets looked and their colors. I did some reading around about sizing and I found people that said the fit runs large, but I don't think that's the case. I usually go large for a somewhat baggy look, but not too baggy and this rain jacket fit me as such.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket is perfect as an outer shell for a winter jacket. I didn't have a winter jacket, so I got this as an outer shell and it worked perfectly. It's waterproof, comfortable, warm, and if it's a little too big it can be adjusted to become the perfect size. Overall an excellent jacket. 5 Stars.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this jacket as a gift for my girlfriend. Perfect light jacket for damp or cool days. Folds up into its pocket for easy storage and carrying around when not using. I bought her a small, she's 5'5" and about 130lbs with an athletic build and it fits her perfectly.
My rain jacket is a few years old and may not be the same exact model. Mine has a two way zipper that is just awful, makes the jacket worthless. I hate putting it on and usually have to climb out of it and then work on the zipper. The worst ever experience.
My favorite jacket to wear for inclement weather. Functional and looks good, while keeping the rain out. I chose this in particular to use while working as it was in the color of my institution. Good material, comfortable and good pockets!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work in a high school and the kids absolutely loved it. I received many compliments on the style and color. This is a fun spring jacket. Nice and lightweight, easy to put a sweater underneath of you want a little warmth.
This jacket is warmer than I expected it to be, which is perfect for cold rainy days. It's very lightweight and seals out the rain and wind very well. The materials and workmanship are high quality.
