Works great

Got this to replace the old Goal Zero Venture I had (the old green Venture 30), which lasted for like 7 years! I loved that Goal Zero. I got this one to replace because it finally started to not carry a charge (I still use it, but as a "splitter" to plug multiple devices in one outlet when I'm on the road and need to charge multiple things and I only have one charge port in my car). This GZ works just as great. It's a little heavier. I'm not sure about the big rubber Plug they have on as a protective cover... I can see that falling off eventually. But I like that all the ports are in one spot on this device as opposed to 3 different sides.

A Must to Have!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Goal Zero Venture 35 Power Bank is a must have whether you keep it in your car to charge your phone, take it on camping trips to charge USB devices or keep it on hand for hurricanes which is what we will use it for. Now we don't have to take up a plug on our generator for keeping our phones charged. This great little bank can charge 3 devices at once! It only takes 3 hours to charge up and it retains its power for 3-6 months! Winner! I love that it is waterproof and has a built in 50 lumens flashlight. Small enough to keep in your backpack for hikes etc. I'm just totally impressed with this device and highly recommend it. A+

Great for camping!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I brought the power bank with me camping and I’m so glad I did! We had it down by the beach with us so we could have our phones plugged in and listen to music. It withstood sand and water being dripped all over it. It didn’t take very long to charge the power bank and it easily charged two of our phones at the same time. I think I’m going to also purchase the solar charger accessory so I can charge it when I bring it next time camping where there is no power. It’s small but has a heavy duty feel to it. This is perfect for outdoors!

Great when it works

Not much to review about this powerbank. Flashlight is a nice feature. But charging? Yep, it charges devices. At least it used to. Used it for a couple of times, every time before using i'd notice the power in it reduced - i'm not a professional in power banks but it seems kind of weird for powerbank to discharge on it's own. Perhaps it's the reason why after a while of lying on a shelve it no longer charges. It's been lass than two years having it and now it's another piece of waste. I've specifically chose goalzero as it looked like a decent and reputable brand but my initial experience with this power bank is that some cheap generic power bank would've served me better.

It has become an essential item for my day hikes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Venture 35 Power Bank has been an absolute game-changer for me during my outdoor adventures! Its robust and rugged design makes it perfect for rough terrains, and the impressive 35000mAh capacity ensures that my devices stay charged throughout the day. I love the versatility it offers with multiple USB ports and even a built-in flashlight, which has come in handy more times than I can count. Moreover, the fast-charging capability is a real time-saver, allowing me to quickly top up my devices on the go. Whether I'm hiking, camping, or traveling, the Venture 35 Power Bank has proven to be a reliable and essential companion that I can always count on to keep my gadgets powered up and ready for action!

High Quality Power Bank

I have been buying Goal Zero Flips for years and eventually decided to get the Venture 35. Quality is really good, it is rugged, well-designed, and it charges as advertised. My only complaint, if any, is the plastic cover: I have no issues so far but it does give the impression of being flimsy. Only time will tell if it will last but maybe Goal Zero should design a more rugged cover for the next Venture update. Also it would be nice to see a more compact Venture 15 with 5000 mAh, with only one USB-A and one USB-C port. It would make a great rugged and compact power bank.

Steer Clear

REI should consider discontinuing this product. After 3 months of use, we are no longer able to charge it and because it's been over 90 days since the purchase, we are no longer able to return it. Why would you want to carry a product in your store that several people have had a problem with? Wouldn't you want the products that you carry to be a reflection of your brand? I can not recommend this power bank to anyone.

Great IPX7 Power Bank

I have been buying Goal Zero Flips for years and needed a waterproof power bank decided. The Venture rechargers offered both a good performance, IPX7 rating, and were built solidly so I got both a 35 and 75. Quality is really good, these are rugged, well-designed, rechargers with fast charging. At first I was sceptical about the plastic cover, thinking it might come off due to use. However, almost after a year of fairly regular use, I haven't had any problem with it. The only downside of the Venture 35 is that, though relatively compact, it is on the heavier side. It is a somewhat reasonable tradeoff for ruggedness. It still would nice to see a lighter and more compact Venture 25 version with 5/6000 mAh to have a more lightweight option.
