Great Commuter Pack
This is marketed as a travel bag because of the secure pockets (the two pads on the back actually have zippered pockets under them, so there are three exterior pockets in total). The front pocket, which I originally didn't like because I thought it was a weird shape is actually a normal square pocket on the inside, and is waterproof (for when you go to the beach). There is one small zippered pocket above the laptop sleeve and two organizer pockets on the opposite side. This is pretty minimal organization but works wells for such a small bag. This bag is prefect because it fits my 13" laptop and my notebook and my lunch. It can also fit a light cardigan and my water bottle. The two side pockets for the water bottles are not super large so it will not fit an insulated water bottle, but a regular one can fit just fine. It's super comfortable and there's plenty of airflow on the back even when it's during the heatwave. The bag is very well made with nice blue detailing on the zippers and the straps. Supposedly there is an anti-slash feature, but this also means the padding for the laptop sleeve on the bottom will prevent your laptop from just hitting the floor. Very happy and would purchase again.
Fantastic for travel and city sightseeing
I took this daypack along on a 4-week trip to Europe where I'd be doing a lot of urban exploring and also taking short trips on the train. It is the perfect day pack for this. It packs flat in your suitcase and is very lightweight, which is a big plus for travel. But unlike a more lightweight drawstring type daypack, this one has enough structure, padding and organization to make it convenient if you're out all day and also really comfortable. It's big enough for everything I needed for an all-day walk around the city: my purse/wallet tucked in easy so I was hands-free, plus a sun hat, a light windbreaker and/or umbrella, a snack, and my water bottle in one outside pouch, my sunglasses in the other. It's pretty water tight and it's attractive enough to be presentable in a fancy city cafe. I could easily add small books and purchases as I walked along, and there is a padded laptop sleeve too that I used when making some short overnight trips to nearby sites.
Great aesthetics, broke quickly
This pack worked great for a few months until the stitching just broke on the top strap. It seemed like a manufacturing defect, not wear and tear.
Compact but holds a lot and comfortable to wear
Love this backpack. It is compact but holds a lot. I like the rfid protection and the zip pouches that are protected against your back while wearing. I carried this all over Great Britain and it served me well
Poor quality
I bought this bag a week ago and it is already peeling and wearing away in the bottom. I will be returning it tomorrow. I have owned 4 of this style of bag and the last two looked worn within a month. No more Sherpani for me. They used to make a quality product, not anymore. Really sad for $100! Cheap materials and workmanship.
Perfect Bag
This bag is awesome! It is smallish, but is able to hold a lot of things. I appreciate all the pockets it has and the placement of them. I am a sucker for pockets! All the clips and security features are really cool. Very functional. I also love the grey color that hides dirt and the different material for the bottom of the bag. Feels sturdy and durable.
The Daypack I've Been Looking For
Well made, lightweight, and plenty of zips and pockets to secure small items. Hidden zippered pockets on the lumbar side of the pack very nice feature.
