I’m a stay at home parent of 2 young kids. We’re out of the diaper bag and stroller stage, and I needed a mid size comfortable bag to carry my must haves (keys, wallet, sunscreen, hand sanitizer, snacks, etc.) on our daily adventures. When you’re constantly holding kids hands or carrying a tired kid, a purse or shoulder bag just doesn’t work. I was drawn to this bag because it’s convertible and I can use it as a backpack or a crossbody bag. I’m 6 feet tall with a long torso and this bag is very comfortable for me. In shoulder mode, the body of the bag might be too long for a more petite person. Overall, I really like it so far and would recommend it.
I don’t know why this is listed as specifically for women; I’m an older man and just bought this for an upcoming European vacation because it has enough capacity for a light sweater or rain jacket, phone, iPad, wallet and passport. Plus security features to make sure I can keep those essentials even in the Métro. It looks better than a daypack if I want to take it into a nice restaurant and the color is neutral. It’s not decorated with with cute daisies, unicorns or My Little Pony so I have no problem with carrying it. There is no water bottle pocket as such but the larger outside pocket would work jus fine.
Pretty good bag. One bottle pocket - even an internal one (though who wants to open a bag to get a water bottle??) - would have made a difference. The real problem with this bag is the top zipper. The bag is deep, and the “trailing” part of the zipper that lets you open the top wide is *way* too short. Looks like they could have made it almost an inch longer, but were not that thoughtful. These two issues (lack of access and lack of bottle pocket) were deal breakers for me.
I wanted a convertible bag that was 1) waterproof 2) convertible between a backpack 3) also a crossbody. And this checked off all the boxes. I also like it’s external front pockets. I’m pretty happy with this bag - took it to Europe where it functioned well both in the city and on day hikes in the mountains. Highly recommend.
Got this for my wife for a reasonably sized yet sturdy carry all for daily use during treatment at a hospital. Works well, size and weight are just right and it seems very well made. Space for medium sized water bottle, daily planner, snacks, tablet or laptop, etc. Well thought-out design.
I just got the bag and really like it, but how do you use the chair lock loop? I can't find an illustration or photo of how it should be used, and it's not obvious -- could you please provide a photo?
I purchased this bag as a work-bag and is has now become my all the time bag! Great for travel, work and daily use. Nice size, really versatile, not too heavy and it wears well. Looks great with everything and is comfortable.
I bought this before my trip to Europe. Found the front most pocket pretty secure and the main zipper, I had an S-Biner tied to the plastic loop at the end together with either my water flask or my hand sanitizer.
Bought this for travel and it’s roomy and very comfortable to carry. Compartments are handy for cell phones wallets or even a small iPad .
Great little bag, used it for overnight to NYC. It would have been a 5* but I would like it to have been just a tad bit wider. I love the switch from oversized handbag to backpack. This meant that as a bag museums let me carry it while as a backpack they would have required me to check it.
