Sturdy, useful, large capacity cup

This review will not focus on what this product is not. It's not lightweight or compact but I think you realize that. For what it is it does that well. It is sturdy. I feel like this thing could stop a tank shell. If you put a full tray of ice in it and fill it with water that water will be ice cold a full day later. The straw is high quality too. What I like most about it is the diameter. It is wider than most straws so you can get a mouthful of cold water with a quick sip rather than needing to spend five seconds sipping. Small thing but I liked it. Why did I knock a star off? Like I said it's sturdy. Heavy duty is another word. That means when it's full of water it's HEAVY. I'm a big guy and it fits me fine but smaller people might find it a bit much to carry around even with the very nice handle it come equipped with. It's also tall. If you want to put it on a shelf it better be the top one because it doesn't fit on many lower shelves. With straw, it's a full foot tall. It performs exactly as advertised however. It keeps drink real cold and hold a lot of water. If you want something you can have with you all day and only have to fill once, this is perfect. Just don't say you weren't warned on the other stuff.

Scratched gifts

Unfortunately, the five thermal sippers I purchased were scratched when I received them. They had been packed in a large box and not individually wrapped which caused them to rub against one another. I can’t gift them to my family for Christmas due to the scratchers and abrasions. I returned them to the store and was issued a refund promptly.

New favorite cup

Great insulated cup. I have about 5 Yeti’s of various sizes. The handle on the Stanley is a way more comfy grip especially for how large the capacity is on this cup. When it’s full with ice it gets heavy and the handle on this cup is easier to grip. I like the lid options too. The part that slides for the straw or to drink directly out of doesn’t leak and is more solid than the Yeti’s magnetic closure. It big but still fits in my cup holder. Ice stays for well over 24 hours. I haven’t used it for a hot liquid yet.

Get a real Stanley

I’m not sure if this is a different model of these tumblers or what but the one I ordered from this store is different from the one I ordered off of the Stanley website and it is the same price. The lid and the hole that the straw goes in is different and not even close as good of quality. The one from Stanley had rubber around the straw hole so no air can get in which would help keep your ice longer and the whole top of the lid was just different and not as good of quality. Here are pics of the difference. Sucks that I have to pay shipping to return this and had to pay shipping to get it.

Paint chipped!

Within a month of normal use, the paint starting chipping on my citron Quencher 40 oz. I contacted Stanley about a replacement and the request was denied. I feel the coating was inferior as my other, older Quencher still has a chip free coat. I will no longer purchase Stanley products.

Waste of Money and Poor Quality

I bought this bottle 6 months ago and i have to say this is worse purchase ive ever made, in the first 2 months my bottle fell off my table and my cover imeadiatly shattered into pieces, which i was very upset about, i bought a new cover replacement just for it to break for a second time over a simple fall, i then purchased another cover giving it my last chance, then it broke again. In the span of 6 months, my bottle has broken 3 times, indeed a waste of money and poor quality. My second issue with this bottle is that the paint job is very poor. The paint on the overall bottle is very chipped, not to mention the logo. I washed my bottle every two weeks, and the logo was completely rubbed off. Even when water even slightly touches the logo, it starts to run and melt.

Hi Kia, thank you for taking the time to leave your review and sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear about your experience with the bottle – I can totally understand your frustration, especially given how many times the cover has broken and the issues with the paint. It sounds like your bottle hasn’t held up well to normal use, and that’s really disheartening. Our goal at Stanley is to create products that are built strong, built simple, and built for life. We've sent you an email to address your concerns and would love to hear back from you.

My New Favorite Cup

I have wanted this cup for a long time and I was SO happy when I saw it was available here online. I love everything about this cup, except that it doesn’t fit in my car’s cup holders. I have to force it in. I even bought a separate insertable cup holder and it doesn’t fit that either. That’s the only disappointment.

First time Stanley owner

I bought the new Yeti with a handle because the Stanley was out of stock.. about a week later i was able to snag a Stanley! I was so excited! It is a great size, I feel like it pushes me to drink more water, and the handle is a must because when iced, it is kind of awkward and heavy. My kids love sharing my "ice cold water" as they call it. However, I see that it says 11hrs cold and 2 days iced. There is no way in heck my drink stays iced 2 days. I can put ice in it before bed and it's all melted by the time I wake up in the am. Sad to say, my Yeti keeps ice way longer. I still enjoy using the Stanley, I just know I'll have to refill and re-ice more frequently.
