Great, once modified.
I've been waiting for weeks for the drain plug that I could attaché a hose to for draining outside my van without getting the interior floor flooded and one has yet to be available. So, I ordered a replacement standard plug and modified it with parts from the hardware store with a valve and hose to fit my needs.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I ordered this Vortex Drain Plug online, received parcel on time and also fit my yeti cooler. One happy camper
Holding Baja fish for three days
My brother in law purchased the 105 and 7 days later I had it in my pickup headed for two weeks in Loreto, BCS. On the way down, I was skeptical. What little ice I put in seemed to dissipate like a "regular" cooler so we used it for storage of clothes etc. until it was time to head north with our yellowtail, cabrilla, dorado, and pargo. I purchased ice the night before and laid it in the cooler. The departure morning, I laid all the filets in the cooler, placed newspaper on top of them and placed the bag of ice on top of the newspaper. I don't know if that was right or not. We took our time coming up overnighting in Catavena and La Mission. I had little hope of anything being frozen when I arrived home. ALL of it was and it was pristine.
Yeah REI, boo Yeti
Reliable REI had the drain plug in stock. Yeti did not. Didn’t know the drain plug was MIA until melting ice puddled on my SUV mud mat. Please Yeti, make a drain plug that can’t be lost!
Does what it says on the tin
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A necessity for your cooler that cannot be done without. The built in drain hole means that you don't often need to completely remove the plug, put it somewhere where you can't remember and then end up with a soaked cargo area halfway through your weekend away with the cooler loaded up with food and (ever so slowly) melting ice. In the future I will be better at remembering to replace the plug after removing it in the rare occasions where it is necessary
Vortex Drain Plug
The Vortex Drain Plug is essential for keeping cold water and ice contained within the Tundra cooler. The only negative to this item is if it is not secured tightly, the darin plug can "wiggle" loose over a very long haul and can fall out during your trip since there is no way to securely fasten it to the Tundra cooler. Otherwise, it's still a great product!
Awesome design
Like the ability to drain without removing the plug from the cooler. Love the ease and fast shipping provided ordering this product. My one wish would be a cable or wire attachment or something similar to keep it with the cooler so it won't rattle out and roll off the back of my truck when I forget to tighten it back up after I drain the cooler.
Amazing
My review isn't so much about the product but the costumer service. I ordered this product not knowing that I had already done so 2 weeks before. I simply called gave them my order number and name and within 30 seconds my order was canceled. Took me less then a minute and a half! Definitely going to recommend this product those in search!
Stellar Yeti customer service!
I purchased a Tundra from a Yeti authorized dealer and experienced some issues with the retailer. The retailer would not assist with the issue. I contacted Yeti with some questions and the customer service was unbelievable. Yeti stepped up and rectified the situation withe the drain plug for a mistake they did not make. Thanks Yeti!
Drain plug is a drain plug, lol
What is there to say, it’s a drain plug and it works but hey Yeti, MAJOR design flaw for not giving this thing a tether of some kind so it can’t roll away and get lost when you’re draining/cleaning the cooler. The cooler itself can’t be beat, best on the market, so I’ll put up with it, but …. Cmon guys, really?
