Specifically purchased for week long family trip to Disney and the beach, carrying drinks and snacks for a group of 7. I loaded it with ice packs at the bottom, drinks next, then sandwiches and grapes. All items stayed cold all day. The side webbings were good for nalgene bottles, but limited the zipper pocket usage. Top zipper compartment kept maps, keys, and medicine dry. Straps didn't dig into shoulders, and appreciated the belt strap to keep it stable and close. The inner, insulated liner is removable if needed or for easy loading/pre-cooling. Very well please with purchase, and will find more uses!

First time used, as soon as the ice melted the cooler leaked a large amount of water. Hopefully the one I bought was a one off.

Awesome pack!

We love this backpack! We bought this instead of the YETI brand version and it is amazing! We took it on a four day adventure into the White Mountains of NH and it did not disappoint. Not only did our food stay safely cold for two days, but we were able to remove the sleeve with the cold food and use the outer shell on daily adventures. My husband even thought the straps and cudshioning were comfortable, and he hates backpacks. Great purchase!

Great on the Trails!

We bought this backpack 2 years ago for a two week trip to Grand Teton, Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks. Since then, it has gone on numerous beach trips as well as another hiking trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. This cooler is perfect. We pack kids drinks and beers on the bottom with ice, then place our sandwiches and fruit on top of the ice and it has been a dream every time. It does not leak and it keeps our stuff plenty cold for day hikes. I have not tried to use this on any overnight trips but I will say, we have kept ice in it overnight to reuse the next day. It does melt some but there is always a good base to start the next day with. Would 100% recommend this product

Comfortable Pack

This is a large cooler to carry on the back but it is very comfortable, adjustable, and fits both my wife( much smaller than me) and I well. We don’t pack with ice so leaking is not really an issue. A few cold packs and starting with frozen or cold food this cooler keeps perishables and drinks cold for a few days.

My only beach bag!

I go to the beach OFTEN and by myself. This bag is perfect for me. The bottom holds my food and drinks. I use a small dry bag for other items and place that on top of the food so that I only need to carry one bag. Sometimes, it's a bit heavy, but that's on me, isn't it? I haven't had any issues with it leaking, and my food keeps cold all day.

Not cool enough for these cool kids

I purchased this for a short camping trip to the Black Rock Desert. It's May, so temps are not even close to soaring. I like the idea of a back-pack cooler, but unfortunately, this cooler did not keep things cool. And the geometry of it just isn't right. I did not like having to unpack everything to get that one can of juice (or beer) at the very bottom. Could be perfect for heading for the beach down a long rough or sandy trail (where you wouldn't want to have to pull a trad cooler behind you), but not for 24 hours in the desert.

Wanted to love it…

Easy to use, has deep side pockets. However, I’m not a fan of this cooler. Used it while on a road trip from WA to MD (made a few stops along the way) and the cooler would leak when the ice melted. Great at keeping things cold for a short amount of time. Wouldn’t recommend for long trips, exceeding 2+ days. Will be returning and investing in a better cooler.

Great Cooler

The best bang for your buck cooler I’ve ever used. Perfect for day trips. Can fit 12 packs of cans, couple waters, Gatorade, and a pub sub and container of watermelon. Can use ice packs or ice. Definitely needs replenishing if you’re using for multiple days. Never had an issue with leaking and for a day at the beach it gives you hands to carry all the other fun gear to spend a day at the beach. Highly recommend. Other cooler may keep things colder longer but you can’t bring near as much and it’s not often I need thing cold for more than 24 without access to more ice.

Great competition to the icemule

Love this cooler because unlike the icemule, which is great, this has a removable liner.
