Best trekking poles ever!!!
Received free product
I love these poles. Cork grip is so comfortable! These are definitely the lightest and strongest poles for trekking that I have ever owned. I took these puppies up into the Indian peaks wilderness and was really impressed with the fact that they don't vibrate at all even when you're pounding hard on the poles. The specs on this say that they have a "Speed Lock" and that's actually true. I've owned many poles and these were by far the easiest to adjust to my height (5'9") and then my husband's height (6'4") and they are very sturdy once you lock them in. My husband commented that normally these kinds of poles get a little wobbly when they're adjusted for his height and he did not have that problem with these poles which is very impressive. The cork grip is really comfortable and have not given me any blisters any of the times that I used these. The strap is also easily adjustable but also very sturdy so your hands aren't slipping out while you're walking. The tips grip the Earth very well and provide a lot of stability. It's also nice you can replace them when you wear them down if that ever happens. I would recommend these to anyone no matter the activity!

Poles don't stay adjusted
These poles look nice and the handles are comfortable, but on the first time using them the height adjustment didn't hold. I had read other reviews saying this - but silly me I somehow couldn't believe that one of the main functions of a walking pole wouldn't work on a reputable brand. So now I am going to have to put some kind of tape below the adjuster clamp.

Like 4-wheel drive for your feet!

I’ve been hiking for over 30 years and never really felt like I needed a pair of these. Recently, I’ve both been doing a lot more winter/wet weather hiking, and have been told I am, ahem, no longer a spring chicken. Putting those two things together, I figured it’d be worth getting a pair of poles. Not knowing the difference they’d make, I was really pleasantly surprised by how much more stable I felt with them! And I saved myself from falling on a slippery wooden step, too, which was a nice bonus. Don’t have anything to compare to, but these are solid, easy to use, and once you have your height dialed in, like an extra set of feet for walking!

Excellent except straps don't hold their length

These are excellent trekking poles with an easy-to-use and secure length adjustment clamp system. However, the strap adjustment is not secure. The straps continually lengthen, bit by bit, when in use. I cobbled together a solution by tying down the straps at a specific length, but this means the straps are no longer easily adjustable. This is not just a faulty pair, my wife has Leki trekking poles with the same mechanism and those slip as well. This may depend on user weight, I am 190lbs and if you're lighter it might not be an issue.

Light weight but grips were a little big for me

Received free product

I got these hiking poles to try out and compare them to my other set. These are very light! They were very sturdy on hilly terrain and in slush. I was a little uncomfortable with the handle grips. They felt a little big for me (I wear a Small size glove). These would be great for local hiking but probably won't fit in carry-on luggage.

Sturdy lightweight poles!

Received free product

I really enjoyed these poles. In the past I haven't used poles too much however now that I am getting a bit long in the tooth these poles really helped the stresses on my body! I found the grips to be very ergonomic and comfortable, although I am a larger male. The poles themselves are super lightweight and are pretty compact for travel and packing. They stood up to the hiking I did on some rocky and hilly terrain. I haven't tried them in winter weather yet, although I look forward to doing so!

Overall Pretty Good, Straps Iffy

Nice adjustments, weight, feel, and collapsed size. The straps are pretty useless though. Adjusting the straps is not the problem, but they really don't want to stay in place. I can't figure out if it is just the material they are made from or where they are on the pole, but they always slide off of my hands. The poles work fine without them though.

Held up well and holding

These trekking poles have taken a beating over the miles I’ve used them. They hold up well and support my Durston Tent after the hike. Telescoping collapse is nice. Fits on the side of my pack. I’d continue to use these.

Awesome purchase!

I'm happy I bought these. They are light and held up amazing on hard elevation gains and drops, and didn't collapse on themselves like other brands I've tried. They made a hard trip easier to manage!
