Power 6 Cycle Shorts - bootylicious

I bought the green and pink Power 6 Cycle Shorts some months ago. Yesterday I put them on to do one short block of a step routine which I recorded. In a word I was told it accentuates my bum. I’m bootylicious. I have never ever been told that before and I’m tomboyish really in terms of my fitness physique so being told I’m bootylicious was quite something. Basically these are super-comfy, properly flattering (a little more than I’d like to admit) and worth the pennies! Get’em!

Love!!

Love these shorts! I’m only 5’1 and find bike shorts usually hit too low on my legs or cut at the chubbiest area- not flattering and I have think thighs. These 6in shorts hit at just the right spot! Love the way they look and they do not ride up! I wore them the entire day, while working, going for a long walk and an intense workout. They stayed in place and still looked great at the end of day! I may have gotten some compliments too. I would definitely recommend. I only swear SB leggings and now these shorts! If you like the power leggings you’ll love the shorts, cannot recommend them enough.

Good shorts but mine had a fault

Great shorts for exercise and casual wear but unfortunately the seam tore away on one leg. I think I was just unlucky with receiving this faulty pair. The thread started coming away after a couple of wears

New favorites!!

Running, spinning, strength training--these are my new favorite workout shorts!! I was very pleasantly surprised to find that they don't roll up or down. I am training for a marathon and also teach Spinning and BodyPump. For reference I am 5' 4" and 122 pounds and the small fits perfectly. I've put a lot of running miles on them already, and I love the high waist, I love the length, I love that they stay put. No chafing issues. I would love if they came in more colors, and would also appreciate a pocket on both legs rather than just one, but all in all these are 5 stars in my book. I will be purchasing another pair as soon as they are back in stock.

Disappointed with the quality :(

I bought these after all the great reviews and I needed a new pair of running shorts. When I got them I was so happy, they felt great and I thought they'd be perfect and would be the usual SB quality. I wore them out running once (rode up slightly and gave me the dreaded camel toe, doh!) and I wore them for yoga once (also rode up!) and went to try them again only to see that the SB logo was already peeling off! Really disappointed in them. I have loads of SB leggings that have been washed tonnes and the logos are still perfect. These now just look like any old shorts and I can't wear them to run :(. Expensive shorts too, such a shame.

Really great for yoga

I bought these to do my yoga and HIT in, and I’m so glad I did! They’re super comfortable, don’t ride up and aren’t not see through at all. They’re a thick material, but also not too hot. I love the pocket, but do find it odd the sweaty Betty has their pocket on the left side. It’s not necessarily a problem, but it would be a lot easier on the right side since I’m right handed. (I think most right handed people have a preference of putting their phone in their right pocket). But this is being nit picky! They’re great!

So disappointed ☹️

I bought the power shorts from Notting hill yesterday, having tried them on in store with no issues. These shorts feel so good BUT they ride up and give you a camel toe. I have plenty of power leggings but these are my first power shorts and unfortunately I will not be wearing them again. What a waste! I spent my entire HIIT class pulling them down to try and hide the camel toe, not what you need when you’re trying to workout. The picture was taken after a 45m class having pulled them down several times.

Not right for my body shape

Don't get me wrong, these shorts are really high quality and comfortable. Unfortunately they don't work for someone with my body shape; Bigger glutes & thighs with a smaller waist. I originally ordered an XS and then returned to size up for a S. Both sizes had an unfortunate issue with the front seam (I won't go into detail...) as with larger glutes I require more fabric around the back. Maybe it's the compression / bum sculpting element? Either way I'd taken the tag off and tried them out, but the issue got worse during my training. I won't be wearing them anymore because of this issue, but can't return them either as a size M would be too baggy around my waist.

Great Biker Shorts

I wore these to the gym and did a 1.5mile run and then a spin class. No issues what so ever with them riding up. I bought an XL and L as I wasn't too sure which would fit better. The XL was the right size for my liking (I do like them alittle looser). They were on sale at a great price, so will keep both, the L will still fit ok. The material seems heavier weight quality, which is good, so see-through-them when doing squats. They height of these shorts sits near your natural waist, they are not high-rise - perfect! Other high rise shorts I have always roll down on me. Look forward to purchasing more.

I have finally found the one!!!

So I never leave reviews and am always dubious as to if they are legitimate, however after reading the reviews for the power shorts ‘not moving’ I thought I would give them ago. And after wearing during all types of running training I can absolutely with certainty say these are hands down the BEST shorts I’ve ever owned. They literally do not rise at all they sit and behave as they should do. I have spent a fortune over the years looking for shorts and I should have just got these years ago. If you’re thinking about it then just get them, you will not be disappointed! Love Love LOVE them 🤍
