Great running shorts

Make sure it’s are pretty sweet. I knew buying them that they would not have the side pockets that I prefer to have on shorts, but they serve their purpose. Well they having small vertical pocket that you can put your car key in. That fits well, and you don’t feel any of the weight of the key while running. The back horizontal pocket that is used for your phone is better suited for a lighter device. My full-size iPhone doesn’t really fit in there and it’s too heavy for the fabric. I don’t care about that anyway, as I carry my phone in a flip belt. The shorts are very lightweight and the right length.

Fantastic But with One Flaw

These shorts are amazing and well worth the money: awesome fabric, ideal pocketing, great liner. I only have one quibble: the drawstring is too elastic. You have to tie it very tightly or else the shorts may sag when you stash your phone in the back phone pocket. If you're not prone to use the phone pocket, this might not be an issue. But I like to run with my phone and so I have to work very hard to keep the drawstring very tight. A less elastic drawstring would resolve the issue. Still I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great, but don't get these in gray

I went out for a 7 mile run. The shorts were great. However, by the end of the run the material soaked through and I had a perfect butt/genital area imprint that was darker than the more dry material. I guess I'll save these for running when it's cooler.

best shorts ever

These are the best shorts ever! I wear them to bike, run, coach, paddleboard, etc. They are super comfortable. They have the most comfortable liners too. I have many pairs of both the 5"" & 7"" impact shorts. I wear them everyday! I wish they came in more bright colors & I miss the old back pocket that was big enough to hold a phone.

Great shorts, not the cord

Very good performance, fresh and flexible. It fits as any long distance runner would like...but, the extremely elastic waist cord does not help. I guess it could do better any standard -non elastic- cord. Fresh enough for midday running, during two or three hours.

New favorite shorts.

I hate when you go to repurchase a pair of your old favorite running shorts and they no longer make them. I was hesitant to purchase without seeing them in person but they are awesome.

Poor Design, Poor Quality

I had great hopes for these shorts when I ordered them, but after actually using them I was disappointed. First, while they have multiple pockets, none of them seem practical or functional. There are two ""drop pockets"" that are only large enough to carry a key or a gel pack. Anything larger and the ""drop pocket"" becomes an accurate description since the contents will most likely be dropped during your run. There is a ""larger"" zippered pocket that is spacious enough for an ID or credit card. Unfortunately, it is almost impossible to reach since it is located in the high center of the rear of the shorts. You could, I assume, always run with a friend who is willing to help you access that pocket. Second, I'd normally say that if you don't need or want pockets on your shorts these would be a good selection, but the quality of the material used for them makes that recommendation impossible. After just one run I noticed that the material had already developed a rip in the waistband (as seen in the attached photo). But if you're looking for useless pockets and poor material, these are the shorts for you!

Solid short

This is my second pair. I own the previous model. I still give it 5 stars, but wish they would move the zipper pocket ti the side of short rather than the rear.

Good Design And Pockets

It is nice that this item has many pockets on it. That's because you can put in your gloves, mask, or gels. You also hold your key or card in a zipper pocket.

Soft and comfortable running shorts

My son loves these running shorts. He is 14 years old, 5'7"" with slim-medium build and the small fits perfect with a little room to grow.
