Perfectly simple
We are car campers, but are always looking for ways to simplify and streamline our setup. These great little mess kits have become the only dishes we carry for individuals. Simple setup that is durable and never fails us.

Clips broke immediately
Both a friend and I bought this right before a camping trip, and the clips that hold on the lid broke on both of ours during the first day. I don't know if we bought old stock or something but both having it at the same time made me really not trust this product.

I great sealable mess kit!

Received free product

This product is really great if you want to be able to store something with a seal so it wont leak. I took it on a day hike with my wife and brought some berries with us. It was about 60 degrees and the berries stayed nice and cool. Nothing leaked in the backpack and the spoon was nice. The product feels durable without weighing a lot. The only thing I am not sure will last is the piece that holds the utensils to the outside. It holds the utensils very well and fits snug but I feel like it be the first thing to wear out. I can't say for sure though, only time will tell. Because I don't want it to wear out faster I don't store it with the utensils strapped in. All that said it works perfectly, I love how light it is and that it seals. This is great for an overnight trip where you plan to eat something a little messy and wont be able to wash until you get home. It wont leak in your pack or make a mess.

Handy for chips and sandwiches

Received free product

This was such a handy container for carrying food you don’t want to get crushed. Perfect for kids and great for things like sandwiches or chips like I took out for a day hike. I like that it is easy to clean in the dishwasher (although it does not say if it is actually dishwasher safe), it was perfectly fine in the top shelf. It was important that it be leak proof and I have had no issues so far. You can clip it to your pack or stuff it in your pack. Great little addition to the camp kitchen.

Sturdy on the go container

Received free product

I was impressed with how sturdy this product is and feel good that's it's also recycled. Really love the color! It has a seal and clips which make me feel secure about putting it in a bag but I have not yet tested with very liquidy things, and might not recommend too much liquid to be safe. For someone with smaller hands I found the width of the utensils a bit uncomfortable but if it's just a quick meal I can deal. I see what others mentioned about the potential for the utensil cord to eventually break. It might be a better model if the utensils clipped onto the box or clicked into the side, for future ideas. But if you're looking for a sustainable on the go container (or container for take out/restaurant leftovers), I would recommend it. #gotitfree

Not leak proof

Great idea for a product and works well, functional. But the downside is it leaks regardless of how perfectly you place the lid on. Was sent a replacement with the same issue. Good item, just don't keep any food inside it in your pack.

Great for Car Camping

I bought two of these for car camping and really like how they work out for us. One side can function as a deeper bowl while the other a shallow plate. They fit together nicely so I can add dehydrated foods and hot water for rehydrating (although it works best if you can insulate the unit with a towel, jacket, or hat to keep the heat in). They clean up nicely. So far the clips haven't broken, but we are careful based on other reviewers experiencing problems there. We don't use the plastic cutlery because we prefer metal.

Pretty good, but not perfect.

Received free product

I received this product in exchange for my honest review. I’ve had a chance to use it and wash it a handful of times, and I’m pleased to say it has held up well and I have really appreciated the tight seal. I’ve used it for work and for an impromptu picnic, and I didn’t experience any leaks, even though I didn’t take particular care to be gentle. If you’re in need of a good seal, this is great. The cutlery itself is very functional, but I don’t love the fact that you have to keep track of an extra piece (the silicone strap part) if you want to attach the cutlery to the container. Searching for that extra piece in the kitchen drawer is not a deal breaker, but my kids kept wanting to play with it, so I’m afraid it could go missing for that reason, haha. Even if that happens, all of the pieces are functional and durable and I’ll keep using them.

Car camping staple

Really nice to have, and they serve multiple purposed. The silverware is strong enough that we have never had a problem with them. The plates are large enough to hold a meal's worth of food. The sealing nature of the two halves make them great for storing leftovers, and everything is easy to wash.
