Sizing Notes
Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements. Some women's pants are available in petite and tall sizes. Typically petite sizes fit women 4'11" to 5'3". Regular sizes fit women 5'4" to 5'8". Tall sizes fit women 5'9" to 5'11".
PETITE: Generally, as compared to regular sizes, petite sizes are 2.5 inches shorter in inseam, 1 inch shorter in body length, 1.25 inches shorter in sleeve length and Âľ inch shorter in total rise.
TALL: tall sizes are 3 inches longer in inseam, 2 inches longer in body length, 2.5 inches longer in sleeve length and 1.25 inches longer in total rise.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

Great travel piece; not a fan of the pastel green
I recieved this skort for free in return for my honest review, so here it goes. Pros: Light weight Packs small Quick dry Cute bottom piece for outdoor hiking & walking Water repellent in light drizzle Great casual skort Has two huge front pockets that fit my gigantic phone. Has a zippered inner pocket for your cards/money/keys. Will work for nights out ( but not this pastel green color that I received) Material looks very durable (so long as you wash it per instructions...cold water & line dry) Cons: They sent me a pastel light green color which may not be what most people would like. This color limits it's usage to casual/outdoors use only which is fine since that's what it was made for. But if they also offer it in black or some other neutral colors this would be a great travel piece as you can also use it for date nights and semi formal occasions with no one the wiser.
What's not to love?
I love this skort. The material is soft and has a bit of stretch. No scratching, chafing, or rubbing when wearing on bare skin. The length is great. Definitely mid-thigh or even a tad longer (most other skorts are way shorter). But the skirt part is wide enough that it doesn't ride up when making a large step and doesn't interfere with movement. Two big pockets and a zippered pocket that's surprisingly large (fits my iPhone which I didn't expect after first just putting my hand in). And the color goes well with the usual neutrals outdoor gear tends to come in but also works with a bright red or orange. The only possible improvement I can see is that from the back it looks like shorts, not like a skirt.
Incredibly comfortable
This skort is smooth and flowing. It is incredibly comfortable to wear when hiking in hotter climates. There is a small zippered pocket in addition to two larger front pockets, which is nice but not big enough to hold a cell phone. It didn't feel like the unzippered pockets would hold a phone safely without it falling out, so I didn't even try. The length is nice for hiking as well and can easily go from the trails to a post-hike drink/meal.
Lightweight, Breathable, Dries Quickly
I just returned from a few days of diving in Akumal, Mexico and this skort was a great coverup over my swimsuit to and from the dive shop! The fabric is super lightweight and breathable, and dries quickly after being soaked by my suit. There's even a secure zip pocket for your room key. Note that the fit is slightly bigger than other comparable outdoor brands. In bottoms I wear either an 8 or 10, depending on brand and fit, so thought the REI Medium would be perfect. However, the overall fit is at least a 10, and will stretch throughout the day, especially if damp from seawater. If you are a smaller size 8, you might consider sizing down to the size Small. Also, the skirt part runs only over the front, so it looks like a skirt from the front, but shorts from the back. No issues, just looks a little different. Overall I was happy with how it functioned on my trip, but am not sure how much I will wear it again given the slightly off sizing.
Great casual wear!
I ordered my usual small and these fit perfectly and have adapted to my pregnant belly. I have worn them causally and during walks and hikes. Light weight and dry quickly. Would highly recommend.
So Comfortable
This skort is incredibly comfortable and can be worn hiking, running or as casual attire. I’m 50-55, 5’7 and usually wear a size 6 (some things I wear a size small and other things I wear a size medium). I purchased a size small in the Odyssey Gray and the the fit and color is perfect. I’m just disappointed the skort is being discontinued but will be purchasing another one in the Celery color.
Dressed up shorts!
Flattering and comfortable. A little saggy baggy in the back, so I only gave it 4 stars, but looks nice and the color is great!

Loved this color and material was so soft but had to return it. Runs large and front of short is perfect. It was the back that was not flattering for me. This returning it.
