Very disappointed as the were great the first time worn.
Dry disappointed now. After two washing threads are tearing inside the socks. Long threads coming apart.
White coloured socks keep slipping off
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently purchased 12 pairs of Women's Run Low Ankle Socks in size medium—2 pairs in white and the remaining pairs in various colours. The coloured socks fit perfectly, and I haven't had any issues with them. However, the white socks constantly slip off my heels, making them very frustrating to wear. I'm quite disappointed, especially considering how expensive these socks are. I would expect the fit and quality to be consistent across all colours. I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced this same issue with the white socks.
Old ones lasted 8 years. Worth every dollar.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Longtime fan of Smartwool socks. And by that I mean: I bought a dozen pairs back in 2016; wore them exclusively, and then 8 years later thought, ""I should probably treat myself to some new socks. "" So this was only my second time placing an order, and I expect to be good until roughly 2030 lol. These are the perfect everyday socks for me in the summer, spring and fall. They were the closest replacement I could find to the Run PhD sock which I bought all those years ago, with the same snug fit and from what I can tell similar fabric quality. And of course these stay up and don't end up in the shoe. Seamless toe is divine and has literally saved me tears. #sweepstakes
Don’t love them 😞
The thickness is OK overall, would be the perfect running sock. HOWEVER the toe area seems to have some kind of EXTRA THICKNESS (fold over). I put them on my feet and I had to take them off so I will be returning them.

Too many seams and insignias! Very uncomfortable!! Just make a simple sock, without all the fancy stuff!!!
I would buy the No Show yes
I returned the first sock, i loved the feel and everything about it, but it did not fit! I immediately ordered again. As a survivor of cancer, the chemotherapy left me with neuropathy and my feel are always frozen. So I bought these mainly to keep my feel warm and they certainly do that, but they aren't heavy and the way they are made gives a lot of support to the arch. However, the shortcoming on this sock is that it does not have anything to keep it from sliding. It slides right down in my loafer, my tennis shoes, any shoe that I put on with them. But I do wear them constantly around the house and sleep in clean ones at night, because with warm feet I don't have pain. But if you could fix that sliding problem it would be great.

Favorite socks for everything. I love these socks so much, over the years, I have replaced all my cotton socks with Smartwool socks.
Better than my old pairs
I ordered two new pairs to replace ones I've had for several years. I'm happy that these new ones seem to be softer than the old ones and they also seem to have more stretch. Overall they are more comfortable than my old pairs. If the fabric content is the same, maybe drying somehow makes them stiffer over time? Anyway, I will try to keep them out of the dryer this time to see if they retain their softness. I use these mainly for golfing and training. I love that they do not add any volume so I don't need to size up in golf shoes and sneakers.
What is going on with your sizing, Smartwool?
I ordered 15 pairs of socks in the same size (in 2 different styles) and had to return half of them because they were an ENTIRE INCH longer than all the rest. I sit squarely as a Medium with a size 8 foot. I'm seeing this in other reviews so you can't trust the size. I've tried informing Smartwool but they don't care. Also, beware ladies, that when you shop 'All Women's Socks' they also put Men's socks into that category. I'm finding that those socks actually match their size chart better than one's listed as 'Women's Run,' etc.
