Great for hiking
I'm a dog hiker in Colorado and these are by far my favorite socks. I've had no blisters while wearing these, they wick moisture away from skin, and dry very quickly. I use them as liners under heavier socks in cold weather (my waterproof snow boots have never been waterproof, and these socks make wet feet less unpleasant.) and these are also the only socks I use for canyoneering and kayaking, as they dry more quickly than any other socks I've tried. I usually wear size small in athletic socks, but I prefer medium in these.
I Love These!
The ombré of colors on these socks spark joy in me. I wish that Smartwool would make a crew sock and knee high version of this color design so that the socks would peek out more from the top of my ankle high boots. The colors are bright, but not neon-in-your-face sort of bright. These socks fit my women’s size 6 foot very well.

very light, easy to wash and quick to dry when traveling. if you machine wash and dry, get a bigger size.
Most reliable socks!
My favorite socks for running shoes. They stay on your foot, they are always comfortable, and they hold up for a very long time. Have not had a pair fail yet!!!

Great socks but too tight at the ankle opening. They were otherwise the usual Smartwool quality. I returned them due to the ankle tightness.

Even prettier in person
Usually Darn Tough are my go to wool socks, but I am loving Smartwool more and more. These socks are gorgeous in person and so comfortable to run or hike in. These socks zero cushion makes them a good candidate for my bike shoes, too. They are thin but moisture-wicking and protect from blisters. I am so pleased with this purchase.
Smartwool has improved
I love Darn Tough socks usually but have tried some SmartWool over the years. In the past they’ve felt different but these are really soft and comfortable. They don’t just feel like the design is stamped on.

Mu husband always raved about smartwool socks, and I didn't understand it until I tried them myself. These are comfortable, I dont get too hot or sweaty and I definitely dont get blisters when I wear these. They are my favorite socks, and I can't sop adding to my color collections- they are so fun!
