My favorite running socks!
Trail runner, need the ankle height. Targeted cushion is perfect for me. I ONLY run in wool socks, and Smartwool is the BEST
I Think Smartwool Changed Their Sizing
I have worn Smartwool socks for years. Different styles (running and hiking) and they have been great. I wear a 9.5 men's running shoe and would order size large from Smartwool and they would fit very well. With this pair of socks it appears that Smartwool may have changed their sizing because these socks are huge and my foot just slides around in them. Same quality and comfort that we are used to with Smartwool, just a slightly changed patter or something like that.
Excellent Help for Feet with Neuropathy
I bought these socks with the hope that they'd help me do exercise walking in sneakers with my present condition of neuropathy. They have turned out to be really wonderful and my feet are cool after miles of walking and I'm going to REI tomorrow to get another pair.
Comfortable but sizes run small
Runs small. Recommend getting one size bigger for a comfortable fit. These were for my son, size 10.5/11 running shoes. The Large was a little too short. They fit me great - women's 9.5 running shoe.
Runs Super Small
The fit is way small. I had to take them back to an REI store and get the XL.
Comfortable
Comfortable lightweight socks but no cushioning. These are ok for gym activities but I prefer something a little thicker for running.
Disappointed in Material
I’ve been using smartwool socks for years. The latest I was sent didn’t feel as nice. Perhaps it was the change in material of the socks. The packaging of the socks stated it was made of more recycled nylon than was even listed on the website. Please bring back the original material and high quality.
Smartwool socks
I have worn Smart wool socks with this style for years. I found that this one fits better and is much more comfortable for my feet. They also feel seem to be better made. My feet are happy wearing them everyday. I am 77 male who does cardio most days.
One of the best on the market for running!
I wear a lot of top sock brands for running, and these are currently my favorite for road and trail running. Love the comfort, fit and they drain really well. Great job Smartwool!
Light cushion, low top.
The height of the sock is little lower than the photograph suggests, thankfully what I wanted. Lightly cushioned, perfect for me in running shoes.
