I purchased this backpack when I couldn’t find my usual one (Osprey Dyna 6) after we moved. I finally found my Dyna 6 one but this one’s capacity is double my usual pack, and I wanted both options, depending on how long I’m gonna stay outside. I eventually returned this one because the straps are a little awkward (I’m medium busted and it was just kinda weird), and it wasn’t easy to put my iPhone 13 Pro in the front pockets. I also have a Garmin InReach mini that I want to have available up front too but this pack didn’t fit the bill. Other than that, the bladder was perfect size and easy to fill and clean, and the storage can hold my jacket, snacks, and other essentials for a long day hike.
I bought a different running pack that I hated and returned so I did a lot of research to find what I needed. This one sounded perfect. And It was exacy what I was looking for and more The fit is comfortable for a woman’s body and I forgot I had it on several times. I wasn’t sure about the sternum straps and waste belt, but they helped keep the pack secure on my back. It’s compatible for a water bladder including a space for the hose on the shoulder strap. The bladder was secure in place and didn’t swish around when running. I liked that it has lots of pockets to keep things organized. It’s larger than other running packs, but I needed something for the longer days that would fit the essentials in case of an emergency: extra layers, rain jacket, extra food, water filter, Spot device, etc. If I’m 10 miles away from a trailhead, I need to be prepared for anything and this has the capacity for that. The material is durable, I didn’t have to worry about ripping it. It’s a little heavier than other running packs, but the fit makes it comfortable to easily balance everything I need in one space. I have a smaller pack for shorter hikes or runs. But this one will now be my go-to back for longer days on the trail. I read another review of someone who used this and loved it on the Tour de Mt Blanc.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Took my new Dyna 15 on an 11-mile, 4,800ft elevation gain trail run/hike in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains in NH. Filled the 2. 5l bladder and stuffed the pack to about as full as it could be. It was heavy but it felt great while running and hiking!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a runner but wanted a lighter pack for the warmer months and this pack is great. It barely feels like I am wearing anything even with a full water pack. Many easy access small and large pockets. I am able to carry enough water and everything my dog and I need for hikes under 6 miles. Over that we would need a larger water reservoir. I wish it had a light handle on top instead of just a small loop for carrying and it does not have a magnetic clip for the water tube like some of my other Osprey packs. Other then that I am very happy with the Dyna15
Purchased for run commuting. Appreciate the larger size (I also have smaller Osprey run packs) -- easily fits my clothes for the day. Though lacks inner pockets, so harder to organize smaller items. Find it very comfortable. Main con is the inner webbing is very scratchy and is quickly wearing/scratching the shirts I wear underneath. I'd also flag that when I'm really sweaty, can spread around the pack, so good to wrap any clothes inside to protect them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great fit. Super comfortable. I like the fact that the hydration hose is just long enough to tuck into a front pocket. Would like a bungee on the back for hanging wet clothing. Long narrow front pockets are too deep. For the most part, this is a great pack.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The capacity and fit is everything I was looking for but the attachments in the front are difficult to unhook/ open
