Fantastic drivetrain on a budget

I’ve run this on three bike personally and have set buddies up with it as well. It’s the most solid reliable drivtrain you find under $300. For $130 total, you end up with a drivetrain that is more consistent and confidence inspiring than the more experience SRAM SX.

Very Unreliable

I purchased a bike that came with this derailleur stock on it and had nothing but issues. I owned the bike for 3 days and took it to four different bike shops to have this serviced. The derailleur could not maintain the proper tension, causing the chain to go all over the place while I was riding. I would get the tension adjusted and within another hour or two of riding time it would happen again. The place I purchased it from finally just said the issues were just due to the quality of components so I returned it. I won’t ever try another micro shift product again.

Great Derailleur

Great groupset. I went with the entry level shifter, not bc I didn‘t wanna pay extra, only because I didn’t like the silicone pad on the pro shifter, nor the trigger function. Very reliable. Looking to add this to my secondary bike. The clutch function makes it great for those who want to go 1x, but would also like to continue to do some hybrid riding.

Perfect commuter upgrade

Paired with the matching shifter and casette I was able to bring a late 80’s mtb into the modern era of 1X shifting. Works flawlessly with shifting just as quick and crisp as shimano xt, for a lot less.
