Is this a flannel for ants?

I'm not the biggest fan of this flannel, though it is definitely high quality and fairly warm for a lightweight flannel. I wore this over a capilene cool longsleeve hiking in high 30s/low 40s in Arkansas and I was more than happy enough. My biggest gripe is that it shrinks A LOT and becomes much smaller than a good medium-sized flannel, especially compared to the midweight version which is quite a bit bigger. In my opinion, a flannel should also be a bit "too big" so that it can be layered over a fleece or sweatshirt. Also, the single-pocket design is extremely questionable, especially with how small the pocket is and how the bottom of the pocket doesn't really allow anything to feel secured inside of it. Even with a small pair of sunglasses, the pocket barely closes over it, and is essentially full. Adding on top of that, cover flap for the pocket is highly prone to becoming 'crooked' after a wash, which is always the biggest red flag for me when it comes to flannels. For reference, the midweight fjord has two very large pockets, and both have remained sturdy through several washes. If you're looking for a good lightweight flannel option, I would just go with the REI Wallace Lake -- it's cheaper, doesn't seem to shrink nearly as badly, and the two pockets it has are extremely sturdy (arguably sturdier than any flannel I've ever owned, and I've owned a lot).

Buttons out of place

I love the size, feel, weight, and color of this shirt. Something always seemed off about it and then I realized the buttons are sewn on 3/4” out of alignment with the buttonholes so the pattern doesn’t line up. It looks like I don’t know how to button my shirt! Considering how much Patagonia clothes cost, I’m disappointed in their quality control on this one. I’d give it a 5 star otherwise.

Sleeves are too long for me

This shirt in medium runs larger, with much longer sleeves. Comparing it with a Patagonia Better Sweater of the same size side by side (which fits me well), you can notice that this flannel shirt is bulkier, and has its sleeves 2'' longer. Reordered a size smaller and see how it goes. Other than that I'm satisfied with the fabric's quality.

Not like the old Patagonia Fjord Flannel Shirt

This shirt is nice enough but I am returning it because I was hoping it would be the same as the sturdy and very warm Patagonia Fjord Flannel shirt I bought 4 years ago. Sadly, it is a much lighter fabric. Specifically, the new version weighs in at 295 gm while the one I love, after many washes weighs 420 gm. It’s a pretty standard flannel shirt and, for me, not worth the price.

It's ok

Shirt is very thin, and is not preshrunk. The models must have very short arms if their height/shirt size information is accurate.

Feels and looks great but got a hole in the sleeve

I really would love to love this flannel but after wearing it twice, once to thanksgiving dinner and once to the office, I noticed it has a few holes in one sleeve. It seems very flimsily constructed.

Good lightweight flannel

I was expecting to prefer the midweight Fjord flannel over this, but I actually find that this version has substantially less pilling and looks a bit better with age. Keep in mind that it's a bit less warm, though.
