Cheap Material

I like the look of the jacket and it’s warm. However after wearing it for two weeks the fleece is already pilling and looking worn and old. I haven’t even washed it yet. Seems like they used cheap fleece. Very disappointed for spending so much money. I have a $20 fleece jacket I bought from old navy that the fleece still looks way better even after washing it several times. Seems like they used cheap material.

Great jacket

I purchased this jacket for my wife as a gift for Christmas. She always wanted a North Face jacket. This is a great jacket. Yes, it may be a little boxy a stated in other reviews but that could be great if you are planning on layering down. My wife says the jacket feels comfortable, durable, warm, and perfect for her. Because it's a little boxy, you may want to down size one size. My wife is 5'4", 140lbs and a size S fits perfectly. The only issue I noticed is that the cuffs are not tight enough. Other than that, this is a great option.

Boxy and oversized without being slouchy

I have wanted this jacket basically since I was in college, the first time it was cool, and really wanted to love it. But I'm very small (5'2", 100-105 lbs depending on what's going on that day) and narrow-shouldered, and this jacket is quite unflattering on me. I am not against oversized jackets or hoodies and have many that I love, but this one is very boxy and not comfortably slouchy, maybe because the materials on the shoulders make it kind of stiff. I'm not sure. The proportions are fine, it's not too long, the sleeves are a little long but not enough for me to mind, it just doesn't look great. Other than how it fits me, it's a handsome jacket of an excellent weight with nice features that I'm sure will last for years. I think if it had raglan shoulders instead of square shoulders it would look better, but then it wouldn't be a Denali jacket. Much sadness. I returned it.

Baggy Sleeves

Overall I really like the jacket and the style. I ordered an extra small. I think it runs big as I am a small/medium in other brands. Main thing to note is the sleeves are baggy for being an extra small. It’s very comfortable though. Wish they made the denali style with all nylon on the outside and fleece on the inside for a sleeker look and that would help it be wind resistant.

Love it!

It definitely runs big. I didn't have time to return it. I needed it for a trip to New Mexico and wore it every day! I guess I will use it when I am wearing another thick layer under it. I bought the pale pink, which is lovely, but pale.

it’s ok

The jack itself is nice but the wind was able to go through it. I don’t think this jacket will be good for camping or anywhere that’s cold. Don’t recommend.

Runs small

The color is as it appears online. It runs small. I got a 2XL and feel like it runs at least one size small. I will be exchanging for a bigger size.

Cheap Looking

I like the style of the iconic jacket but I don’t like the look of the recycled fleece.
