The North Face  1996 Retro Nuptse Down Jacket - Women's

Ive been searching for this jacket for many years. I think this design of a short style puffy NORTH FACE JACKET disappeared for awhile, but ITS BACK NOW. I just couldn't risk it passing by another bunch of years , so i bought it. I love the warmth it provides and its excellent outdoors sporty design and its comfortable fit.

I was so happy to see they offered this jacket in women’s plus sizes. It is roomy and comfy and warm. I’ve have a Nuptse jacket for years but needed a bigger size and here it is true to size.

Just received this jacket and I love up in the mountains. I feel so warm and dry all the time. Love this jacket!

Female, 52, small stature, 115lbs. Do a lot of caving/hiking/camping in polar regions around the world. Time to get a new “Work Horse” down jacket. Bought this jacket size L in bright green/black. Normally a size S, but always get outerwear bigger. L is perfect for lots of layering: Not crazy-large! Perfect for wearing a fleece jacket under, but a little snug “marshmallow-y” looking when I put my rain jacket over it. I loved North Face in the 90’s, and this retro jacket ticks all the boxes for me!

I am 5'2 and 108 lbs, purchased small size from reading and watching reviews, fit was perfect except for the shoulder part that seem to make it too boxy and awkward. The length is perfect and adjustable. Very warm.

I bought the jacket in a size XS I am a female and around 90-100 pounds and I still have room to layer. Keeps me pretty warm and overall the service is great when it comes to shipment. For reference I am from NYC.

Hello, so for starters I’m 5’10 yes I’m a tall women! I put my height just to be informative because I hate when people leave reviews and they don’t say their height lol. I got this jacket exactly how it looks in the picture above. (Brown color) I love this jacket! 10 out of 10 recommend, I get so many compliments, because you don’t often see the brown color here in Seattle where I live. You're more likely to see the black color. That’s nice and all but just a little too basic for me. I definitely wanted to stand out. As I stated before , I get so many compliments on this jacket than any other jacket I’ve worn before. ALSO IMPORTANT- I take care of it even when I need to wash it. I make sure that I wash it with care. Following the proper care instructions on the label inside the jacket. That will give your north face longevity! Great jacket. I have not worn yet, but I have other colors in the same jacket. This color scheme is beautiful as all of them are. I know it will keep me warm this winter season. I would recommend to all!

Love so much. True to size. I was concerned a medium would be small or the arms might be short based on other reviews. It’s true to size and the arms hit mid palm. 5’4 115lb roomy enough for layers.
