Xero Shoes  Aqua Cloud Sandals - Men's

I purchased this pair of cloud sandals by Xero shoes to upgrade from constantly wearing flip-flops and relieve my feet. Not only did they do the trick, but I found myself liking them a lot more than I thought I would. Extremely light yet incredibly comfortable, I walked a considerable distance over three hours without any issues the very first time I put them on. Not the slightest bit of irritation, redness or anything on my feet! And no sore feet whatsoever the next day. To my surprise, I like them more than my flip-flops. There’s no going back as far as I am concerned. These are now my favorite shoes. I wish I made the switch earlier. I highly recommend them.

I love how these feel on my feet and nothing feels like it is smashing my toes. The straps are easily adjustable to get the right tension in the right places. I am used to wearing flip-flops but will definitely be wearing these during the warmer months too.

I purchased this to wear as I hike to/from the beach. I love the minimalist design and this thin sandal still provides protection for the soles of my feet as I walk the rocky tracks/steps. I also run barefoot at the beach and the fact that I can roll this sandal and it perfectly fits in a fanny pack is one of the best features. I don't have to carry things and I don't have things dangling on me as I run. follow the direction on their website on how to ensure you find your perfect size. I wish the color was more natural blue or neutral blue, but since it doesn't affect the function, I give this 5 stars!

I bought these sandals for a trip to Hawaii to replace flip flops. They are a true minimalist sandal, as in they're very thin. I normally wear Altra shoes, so the transition wasn't an issue. Getting them on and off is easy but took some time to get them adjusted just right. The toe does act like a 'fin' if you try to walk in the water though which creates drag and bends the sandal. I wore these exclusively for the duration of the 10-day trip and continue to wear them when the weather allows. I purchased them on sale and would say that value was perfect. Highly recommend!

Years of experience with huarache-style sandals. These are a busy, at least size 12. Floppy toe, difficult to get tight (and stay that way), grooves in sole irritate feet (pinching when sole flexes too much), and the lace ends flop all over the place. Might be ok with smaller feet and for casual use, but they just suck for river crossings, running, hiking, etc. Sole traction is acceptable, but nothing special.

I’ve had issues with the durability of Xero shoes before and this is no exception. The footpad is also very slippery and I feel like there is a lot of flop in the toe.

These aren't comfortable. Even when you watch the fitting/adjusting guide video, they never feet secure on your feet. They're floppy and offer a little protection but at the cost of mobility. Also, if you sit down the string protectors will dig into your ankles. The straps (strings) also slide out so you have to constantly adjust them. These are just disappointing. If anything, they might be good at a campsite to keep your feet from getting dirty but that's all I can see for a practical use. Don't waste your money like I did.

My husband and I each ordered a pair of these shoes after reading ‘Born to Run’. I recently bought a different pair of Xero sandals and fell in love so when I saw these were on sale, I snatched them up and am ordering another pair as a backup (and I’m a minimalist so that’s saying something!). I usually wear a women’s 10 but ordered a men’s 9 and they fit great (a little bit of wiggle room but I don’t mind). He usually wears a 10.5 but ordered an 11 and they fit perfectly. We have done serveral runs in them with great success and I wear these to hike, and photograph 8-10 hour weddings with comfort. They are very thin, but somehow have amazing tread on the bottom and are just an overall great design. I highly recommend these if you like a minimal shoe and a barefoot feel.

I got these as a lightweight shoe for paddleboarding and they are perfect. Slim enough to fit under my cooler for safekeeping and super quick on/off when I launch from rocky areas. They feel like I'm wearing almost nothing, which is the point.

Initial impression: Very comfortable and light. While I’m not new to minimal shoes, I am new to huarache sandals. I like the adjustment system with cords to get an individual fit. I’ve just worn them casually so far, but I plan to get more mileage throughout the summer.
