Best budget family car camping tent IMHO.

This is the sky dome tent with a full rain fly and generous vestibule. Do about two weeks of car camping each year and needed to replace a 20year-old sky dome that had served that purpose well. No need for being bulletproof or fancy. Only use it to sleep two people as we spend all daylight hours hiking. Easy setup, kept torrential smoky mountains summer rains out (2+ inches in one evening), love the extra vestibule space, ventilation adequate for summer nights, and improved sidewall angle/headroom. Probably would get uncomfortable if in full sun in a humid locale.

Tent buckled and pole snapped within first 30 min

If you are ever going to encounter a little bit of wind, I do not recommend this tent at all. Within the first 30 minutes of the first use, the tent collapsed because one of the poles snapped after it encountered a 25ish mph gust of wind. I know this is on the cheaper end of tents but I’ve never encountered a tent so embarrassing.

SkyDome 4 Person Camping Tent Full Fly& Vestibule

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] OMG I am excited and thrilled with my Coleman SkyDome 4 Person Camping Tent Full Fly & Vestibule. I definitely recommend this product to everyone. Me and my family love camping. Well now I love it even more thanks to this incredible product. I couldn't believe that I could set it up in 5 minutes but I did. One of the amazing features that this product has is 5 Minute Set-Up System with pre-attached poles. I also love that it keeps out flys and has protected entry so it was wonderful when we had a hard summer storm and everything inside was dry as a bone and no rain came in. I also love that it holds my queen size air mattress and didn't have to fight and shove to get it in. So if you love camping like me you're going to love this product. I do and can't wait to go camping again this weekend. This product is made with strong frame, welded tube like floor inverted seams water resistant coated fabric zipper cuff covers. I love that not only is it easy to set up but it is just as easy to break down and put back in bag and it's set for next camping trip. This is definitely better than any other brand I have previously used.Did I mention I love this product. Trust me you will to.

A Wonderful All Around Tent

You can’t set this thing up in five minutes. Full stop. It’s not possible. Not if you guy it out the way you need to and put on the rain fly. That said, I really like this tent. I like the pockets, I like the vents, I like the fact I can pull in an extension cord for my devices to charge at night. It’s got lots of places inside to attach carabiners and hang gear or coats. The vestibule is wonderful for storing gear that you don’t want cluttering up your tent. The price is great too, especially for what you’re getting. But you won’t be pitching it in five minutes.

Attached Fiber glass tent pole is broken, stakes m

I received this tent. Upon assembling prior to camping trip I discovered one of the attached fiber glass tent poles is broken. It makes the tent more difficult to put together and I am scared it will be an issue camping with an elementary school child and a one-year-old. The stakes are also missing. One of the seam in the back of the tent has a defect. There are runs in the mesh. The seams are already taped. It was packaged nicely in the box. The packaging seemed freshly minted, and did not give any signs of being a used tent. So this must be a manufacturing issue. I have a defective tent and my son’s soap box derby begin Friday night. It is Sunday. He worked so hard on his car I have to make sure he makes it to the race.

it’s a tent

Meh. If you’re looking at this you’re looking for the cheapest tent in the store that still has a name brand. It’s a basic four person tent. The door has a weird overlapping lip that catches every time you open/close it. If you’re clever the tent will fit back in the bag when you’re done. I’d get the $70 sundome at dicks/target/amzn instead, not sure the vestibule is worth doubling the price.

a lot of work

I bought this for car camping with my 2 large dogs. I put it up in the back yard. The instructions are not good. I struggled with the rain fly, but eventual got it up. There is enough room and i figure next time it will take 20 minutes for just me to put it up. Problems: 1. buy a bigger duffle bag as you will never get it back in the one it came in. 2. The poles are attached to the tent so if one breaks you'll have to buy a new tent. 3. My biggest problem is all the lines you need to secure it. Especially the poorly designed rain fly. Save your $ and buy a big agnes 4 man!

Very Spacious, Decent in Various Conditions

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This 4-person tent worked really great for two people out in the west Texas desert. It kept us protected from the sun during the daytime and held up against some moderate winds, despite being quite lightweight. I found the setup and breakdown to be fairly easy — the carrying case is pretty exact to the size of the tent, so packing it up requires being somewhat deliberate. The built in poles are convenient but I worry about being able to replace them if needed in the future. A surprise rainstorm and some chilly desert nights tested the limits of this tent though, I think it's best for summers and fair conditions.

Happy Camping

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Coleman - Skydome 4- Person Camping Tent with Full-Fly Vestibule, Evergreen & my Family & I just Love it. This tent is roomy enough for 4 people , no bumping elbows when we sleep. I love the skydome, I can lay & look at the stars at night. The netting makes for a nice breeze on those hot nights. The extra cover that goes over it keeps everything dry, you never have to worry if it rains. I highly recommend this tent to all you Campers, you'll be very Pleased ! This is really well made & will last for many camping trips with my Family .
