Best Material
I bought the spacedye high waisted biker shorts and fell in love with this material. I was looking for a pair of flared yoga pants so I decided to try these out since I was already a fan of the material. I am around 145 lb. and 5'7". I normally prefer a 28"-29" inseam for slim or skinny pants/leggings to have the ability to roll at the ankle. I knew I wasn't going to do that with these, but still worried the 27" inseam was going to be too short for a flare styled pant. I just got them in the mail and they are the PERFECT length. I love them and know you will too! If you are over 5' 9" they may look more like a kick-flare style pant, but that can definitely look cute!
Finally found
Years ago, found the perfect bootleg yoga pant. I can’t even remember where I got them. These bootleg pants were flattering being high waisted (to hold my gut in), tight around thighs, soft, and perfect length. In fall 2019, they saw the last day after 10/15 years. I cried. Since, been trying to find a replacement. I have searched every place and ordered EVERY bootcut yoga pant- all falling short.. too wide waist, big in thighs, poor material, too long, and just qualities I can’t explain but didn’t like. Then at last found beyond yoga and these practice pants!! I love them so much!! My new favorite pair of lounge pants. I’ll be buying many many more and stock piling.
Not the same fit as previous BY practice pants
I LOVED the previous BY standard, midrise practice and capri pants that I bought in 2009 and 2015 (both styles had a slight flare). The inseam and length back then was perfect, although the 2015 fabric was less durable. I still wear a size S. This new style's inseam is way off. I had to go up two sizes (L) to get an inseam that felt comfortable. Even with the L, this new style is shorter -- trending in the highwater direction, and the back was slighter shorter than the front. I've had to revert to other brands with less comfortable fabric just to get a better fit. I would return to BY in a heartbeat if they fit right. I have a straight waist, too, so mid-rise flares, and even low-rise styles, are a more comfortable fit for me.
Can't get enough of Beyond Yoga
I love all of my Beyond Yoga products, but these pants might take the cake. They're unendingly stretchy and shape-retentive, and so freaking soft that I can't stop running my hands down my thighs. They're the perfect length (I think I'm 5'4"), not so long that they drag on the ground but long enough that they don't expose my heels. The high waist is nice and tight, but not constricting. I absolutely love this company--I have 4 products from them, and will continue buying more.
Too short
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please make more styles in longer lengths for the tall girlies. Love the material and quality of course but I had to return them bc for my 5’9” height they just didn’t do it.
Fit is off
Agree with the user below! Just received these in the mail today in an XS and couldn't get them over my thighs. All 5 of my other Beyond pants are S or XS depending on how I liked the fit when I tried them on, so I decided to go with the XS because I know they'll stretch a bit. Anyway, 4 stars because I just put my exchange in for a size small and the process was super quick and easy to understand! Plus, the material seemed great and sturdy minus the size issue. I'm hopeful I'll get the right size eventually and am willing to wait! Will try to update this review when I get the new pair if I can!
Definitely not true to size
Warning these run extremely small. I dont know what has changed with Beyond Yoga's sizing but its ridiculous
Beautiful but inconsistent size
Great looking and superb for much more than yoga, ie gym activities, hiking, just hanging out. One major problem: size inconsistency. I purchased two at store, ordered three more online, all same size SMALL, yet there was a 2-3” difference in length among all. Visited another store, 1 hour away, hoping to find right length, but even at store it baffled employees to find same inconsistencies. I had to pay a seamstress to take them up.

comfy everyday pants
buttery soft, super comfy bootcut yoga pants. love to wear them around the house, on walks, errands, etc. I'm 5'1, 135lb, got a size S and the stretch and fit is wonderful. the length was just a bit too long for me, but I folded and sewed each leg at the seams on the bottom and now the length is perfect. just wish this style had pockets.
