KUHL  Freeflex Cargo Shorts - Women's

I have been searching for a modestly long short for walking that is comfortable (light material, not too big but not binding on the front of the leg as you walk). Got the 8 inch inseam model, but they are pull on and without belt loops to hook things onto. These fit the bill pretty well, nice material, good pockets. The rise is slightly short, but the fit was otherwise good (105 lb., size 4). Good pockets. I got the sage on sale, not really wanting green, but it is quite grey in color, so looks good. A little pricey, only buying on sale or with a coupon.

These shorts are really nice, especially in a heatwave. Light, breathable material, good pockets, quality stitching… there’s just one itty bitty thing… let me start by saying these could ALMOST be high waisted, and I love a nice high waisted pant cause it helps with my tummy stuff. Let’s just say… don’t tug them up too much to get the high waisted fit… You’re gonna want to, if that’s what you’re going for. But just trust me, it’s not a great look. And if you still aren’t certain what I mean…Let me just tell ya, an opportunity was missed by not offering this in a Camel TOnE.

I really wanted to like these. I have 3 other pairs of Kuhl shorts and pants that I love, and I was hoping these would fit like them. Unfortunately, the size that fits my waist, rear end and legs has a center seam that pulls too far up in the groin, if you know what I mean. Almost like a thong. If I go up a size larger, they will require a belt to stay up, and I don't like my pants super baggy. So sadly I will be returning them. I wish sizes were more uniform, at least within a brand.

Love Love Love these shorts. I am short waisted so I love the lower rise. I wore them hiking around in Sicily and was caught in the rain while at Mount Etna while wearing them. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they dried. I wear them walking around NYC and even wear them to my Pilates class. Its nice not having to change once I get there. I am a size 8 but bought the size 10 because I like the way it looks and feels looser and with the drawstring, its easy to customize the fit. Love them so much I just bought a 2nd pair that was delivered today. Tomorrow I am leaving for Vermont to go hiking and I feel all set having two pairs of these shorts to take with me.

I love how lightweight and wrinkle free these are. I've had issues with other Kuhl shorts being a wrinkled mess after their first wash. These hold up well, have a comfortable button latch that won't pop like older shorts.

I went a size up because I wanted some extra room. They are stretchy and such a nice fit. I do like having them be slightly loose fitting. 100% recommend.

I'm reluctant to buy pants on line - for me, if the waist fits, the hips don't, and vice versa. Based on reviews I decided to give these a try, and am VERY pleased with the fit and function are 5 days of backcountry hiking! I weigh 130 with much of it in my hips. The waistline is a bit wider than many shorts which makes it sit flat. The inside adjustment and belt loops both allow some cinching up, and the amount of stretch in the fabric is just right for exercise. The fabric is sturdy, so the seat should last a long time. The pockets sit flat but are deep enough for a small-ish phone, overall is less of a 'cargo' look than I expected (which is good). The "rainstorm" color is more blue-gray, hint of green, less gray than the picture on line. I'll buy another pair in the other color!

Good shorts, movable, breathable and great pockets. I am 5’6” weigh 137 pounds. I tried a size 4 and a size 6, went with a size six, although a little big in the waist I needed the size 6 or the shorts would have bunched a little around the crotch, I have wide hips for my smaller waist. Great news is they have the interior draw string so I can be comfy around my wider hips and still make the shorts fit my smaller waist.

I opened the package and loved these shorts, just what I was looking for! But when I tried them on, I knew they were not for me. The rise is very short and the legs are too wide. Such a shame, they seem like great quality, but the fit isn't for me!

II paid $89 for these shorts yesterday, wore them one time, and the snap on the cargo pocket broke after the first hour of wear. I opened the pocket maybe twice, and the snap broke. Very disappointed in the quality for such an expensive item.
