Best roll top table.
I've used/seen many a roll top table on river trips, car camping, backyard cookouts and this is the best one I've used. It is stable, flat, a good size, the right height, and easy to clean and fold. You can pull up to it in a chair and use it as a computer table or writing table without your knees banging into nets or supports (unlike many camp tables). The tiny round knobs for feet are still a mystery to me but don't seem to interfere with the functionality. It doesn't pack into the smallest space that others do, but still reasonably small. We use this as a harvest table as well as for camping - something I never felt other less sturdy tables was useful for. I suggest you try this table if you have been disappointed in others, or even better, as your first table.

Bad Quality Control. REI return was easy though.
I am not sure how the one I got made it through QC. The struts on one side were installed upside down. Return was easy at my local REI.

Defective

Table was defective upon receiving, some part of the support was misaligned which made the center bow outwards, allowing the table top to fall through.

Beautiful, useful table

This is just a beautiful, useful table. Please note that it has a weight limit of 80 lbs. it’s primarily made of aluminum, so you can damage it with rough treatment. Keep some thin pieces of wood, or cork coasters with you, and a small level to even up the legs on uneven surfaces, and you can set up a great, level work surface for cooking, a portable office, handiwork, or anything you desire. The spaces between the slats are not big enough for a pen to slip through. If the gaps are a problem put a mat or cloth on top of the table. Too heavy for backpacking or a long hike in, vehicle camping only.

Great table

I bought this last year for a camping trip to Yosemite. I have a bigger kitchen table set-up but have a smaller car now and wanted something that would fit my trunk. This table is great. Nice and sturdy. Fit my two burner stove with plenty of room to spare for ingredients and utensils and a place to serve up as well. Loved the table and so did our other guests. Only flaw: the bag was ripped when we pulled it out of the car on first use. The bottom seam came undone and left enough room for the legs to fall out. So the bag isn’t the sturdiest. If I had know I would have just reinforced the bottom before we left but for now I put the bag inside another bag to store it. Going to camp in the next week so I’ll see if my husband can fix it. Other than the bag the table is perfect for me.

The table I never knew I needed

Was very skeptical about picking this up for truck camping but was very happy I did. The table is very practical and is now a must bring every time we go camping. It packs up to the size of a larger camp chair, sets up very easy, seems quite stable and can be cleaned without much effort. It’s a great surface to meal prep, cook and organize other gear on.

Good table

We bought this table for camping in our VW Van. The table does fold up small enough that it is easy to store in the van. To secure the top and keep it folded when it was not in use we had to use some cord that we had (there was not any fastening system included; maybe they think you can just put the top into the bag, but it was easier to do this with the top secured shut). The table is sturdy, but it is short. We are happy with our purchase & do recommend this table. However, like all things, it isn't perfect.

Just like the old blue one I used for years.

I like this table man. I've had a couple different tables and this one is pretty good. Not super compact, but if you're car camping you'll love its sturdy top and pretty easy assembly. Maybe not as awesome as the old blue top ones I've taken down many different rivers, so recognize it is not the perfect river boat table!

Must have!

Great to take camping and anywhere you need a quick and easy table that is incredibly sturdy and packs down very small when you are ready to take off.
