Nice jacket with annoying sleevea
The jacket is warm and comfortable. The inside fleece jacket is soft and can be worn separately. It zips into the outer shell and is anchored at the neck and sleeves. It needs to be attached at the cuff so the jackets stay together. The hard shell rides up so the fleece sleeves extend a few inches and have to be tucked back into the jacket.
Women's Vigor Plus Fleece Hoodie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE this fleece. This is my second. Loved the 1st one so much I bought another! They are not kidding when they say wind resistant! Took my original on the Tour du Mont Blanc and it kept me warm in the unrelenting wind on any of the passes where this extra layer was required. That said, it's also a great layer, under a rain jacket or anything else. The cut fits my body pretty perfectly(I'm not very curvy). And it's cute. Can't go wrong in my opinion.
Plushy, streamlined
I am 5'11'', 145 lbs, long and slender. I bought the medium, and this size is great if I want to add layers underneath. I bought the pale purple color which is fantastic, and I may have to size down to a small and get it in the treeline color as well. Absolutely love the longer length in the torso and arms. Love the plushy interior. Also pleasantly surprised to find that it repelled water during a light rain on my most recent dog walk.
Pretty versatile piece!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not exactly what I was expecting based on photos, but not the fault of OR. This is more technical of a piece than I thought and more of a mid layer than an outer piece. The waste is tight, so I would definitely recommend sizing up. Otherwise, the grid fleece is super warm and the look of the hoodie is phenomenal. I've used it as a mid layer skiing and it's been awesome!
Warmth and element protection
Pretty happy with this little fleece. Super soft plush inside provides warmth while the outside "semi shell" like material protects from the elements, it's the best case all around hoodie. The bottom does cinch a bit tighter than I expected. I am tried and true an XS and this is pretty close to a next to skin level XS, with some (limited) layering under. Stoked so far.
love this
I have worn the vigor plus hoodie several times. It's warm and cozy yet breathable making long slogs up steep terrain in the cold comfortable without too much sweat. Would recommend for beginner to expert. Every time I wear the vigor + I tell my husband and hiking partner how much I love it. I think he'll be getting his own one day soon.
Perfect Layer!
I am 5'9" 150lbs with athletic shoulders and arms. The size XS was snug, but flattering as a base layer. Definitely size down unless you want to put layers underneath or like roomy fit. Love the long sleeve length and thumb holes fit (which is often hard to find as a slender tall person). This is my go-to layer for hiking!
This is a heavier fleece than the vigor quarter zip. It's more of a jacket. I like the full zipper and there are lots of pockets to stash things in. Two front side zipper pockets. One chest pocket and 2 inside pockets. The grid fleece inside is very warm on cool day hikes. Highly recommend it.
The best fleece jacket I have ever owned!
This hoodie is super warm, has tons of very functional pockets, fits great and isn't super bulky. I was recently caught in a downpour without a raincoat and I didn't even get soaked through, I was still warm and cozy in my fleece hoodie! Considering buying a second one in another colour...
Perfect mid-weight hoodie for early spring

Close-fitting body and fleece-lined hoodie blocks the wind and is cozy. The two zippered front pockets are ample (full hand-sized) to hold phone, keys, light gloves and other needs.
