Avoid - better options

It was good until it wasn't. Used less than 4 times and the support ridge pole which is essential to keep the rain fly up, snapped in half. I understand that poles break, but the design of this requires lots of pressure that causes the aluminum pole to bend over time, eventually leading it to break. Instructions even note to "watch your eyes" when installing the pole due to the high tension. I assume the replacement pole will eventually break as well. If you are using this to camp in your backyard this might be an okay option.

Great tent

This was my first tent purchase. I spent a lot of time researching my options and I'm very happy with my Kelty Wireless 4. I purchased this tent for car camping on my own. The extra space is a luxury for just one person and gives me plenty of room to set up a cot and have extra moving around and storage space. As a short person, I can stand up pretty well in this tent which makes setting up my sleep space and changing super easy. I love how easy it is to set up. The sleeves and color coded clips make it a breeze and I have no trouble setting this up all on my own. My first camping trip had 20 MPH winds and my tent stayed put perfectly with the supplied stakes (despite waking up to find my neighbor's tent had blown into my campsite). On my second trip it rained pretty steadily all night long but I woke up dry (I use a folded tarp as my footprint). The only downside to the extra space that I've found is just one person's body heat is not enough to keep this tent warm in cold conditions - but that's not the tent's fault. I like all the pockets inside for keeping everything organized, the two doors/vestibules, and especially the little pockets that diffuse lights. Everything feels really well made and I expect this tent to last me many years.

Yikes

I was so excited for this tent because my previous one could only fit 2 people. The first time I went to use it in RMNP, two poles snapped almost immediately. It was completely unusable (even after trying duct tape a kind park ranger gave us) so we had to go and rent a tent. Not sure if I got a defective tent or what, but I was super disappointed to say the least.

Barely Hanging On

Brought this out to camping in Utah for a week, on the first day the structure pole snapped and then the poles split down in the middle. Had to use ductape to hold it together and then there was a light rain and the rain fly still let some moisture and dust through.

Great..until the pole broke

I really liked this tent initially. Very easy setup (by myself), spacious, good material...However, the top pole broke my first camping trip. REI does not offer replacement poles under warranty either. Other than that, it was great!

Love this tent

This was the first tent I’ve used, and it’s perfect for me. I love the ease to pack and unpack, the internal side pockets for secret weapons, the mesh top for star gazing, the color combo!! I love this tent, I’ll definitely buy another one when it breaks.

Rip off

This tent didn’t make it a full night in Moab but our cheap tent did.
