This bag was a great first sleeping bag considering the price. It definitely cannot be used in 20 degree weather. I've used this bag in summer, and it works great, but any other season, I end up freezing. If you're looking for a cheap summer bag to start with, I would definitely recommend this one, but don't expect to be able to use it in other seasons. I've used on multiple car camping/ backpacking trips and it needed a compression sack to fit in my pack.
This is a great budget sleeping bag, you fully get what you pay for. There are smaller, lighter, and warmer options out there but if you're looking to get out in cooler temperatures and not break the bank, this is for you. I would suggest using the money you saved to purchase an nice warm base layer to stay cozy when the thermometer drops.
Bought for car camping; boyfriend kept warm all night. Once your squeezed into the sleeping bag, you’ll stay warm.
Ordered (men’s long) on sale, thankfully because it’s not as pictured. There is no phone pocket inside, and the stuff-bag is a plain bag without a carry strap or any writing on it. Seems warm so far but feels a bit thin in comparison to an older Kelty sleeping bag we have (which is why we bought this one).
Like an open door this bag lets cold air in. The mouth is far too wide and there aren't suitable adjustments to keep the neck, shoulders, and torso from getting chilled.
I love how light this sleeping bag is, and yet it does its job. If you're on a budget, I'd recommend this one.
I bought this bag for my son because it said it would be good in 20° weather. He did a snow trip in 25° weather, and now overnight in 35° weather. Both times he was cold. I'm giving only one star because being warm is the most important part of a sleeping bag, and it failed.
It doesn't really match the specs of covering that level of cold. It can get drafty but is a good starter sleeping bag. My only hiccup is it didn't come with a bag somehow in our box. It was just folded in our box with no so knocking off a star. Needed the sleeping bag ASAP so I didn't return to complain.
Maybe after 5 washes large areas withojt any insulation. It looks thick at first but it doea not last
Great price and very warm. Really enjoyed using it.
