Perfect
Just what I was looking for, thin (my shoes already have padding, I don't need more from my socks!), barely show with shoes, durable and this brand doesn't wear out as quickly as some of the other popular name-brand socks (this is my second pair)

Good material but slips down
Nice material but they slide down. In the morning they're great, but in the afternoon they feel like they're falling off. I didn't get these for a specific use; I wanted everyday socks. On some shoes they slip down right away, on others they collect debris in the back when I walk or go to the park.

Darn Tough does it again…

In the past few years I have discovered Darn Tough brand. My husband wears their boot socks. I own and love some of their hiking socks. Recently bought a pair of running shoes that are narrow and bought these (no cushion) socks to try. They are extremely thin and the fit is comfortable. But what I was most impressed with is the fact that after an hour workout my feet were dry! No sweaty feet! Will be buying more and trying out the cushion version too.

Love the brand, these slip down

I practically wear Darn Tough 24/7. These are my least favorite, as they slip off my heel. That said, with running shoes they are mostly fine, only occasionally falling down. They may work well for this purpose in those who don’t have narrow heels. I like to wear Darn Tough under short boots but these always do fall down & come halfway off my foot, which is very uncomfortable, especially when out in public & unable to unzip the boot & pull the sock up.

Nice quality but slips around

I wear size 8 shoes and bought a medium. The socks kept slipping around during my Zumba classes but seemed to stay in place for lighter and slower activity like walking. The thicker line at the toes felt especially noticeable when the socks moved (was not about to stop in the middle of class to fix my socks). I considered sizing down to small, but based on the size chart, I think those would be too tight. I preferred the similar SmartWool socks I purchased which are slightly shorter when measured against these. However the DT socks felt like better thicker material, although the feel was a bit more slick than SW.

Love the Darn Tough brand

I own a few darn tough socks and find they last. Usually I develop a hole at the toenail area and thinning at the heel. A couple of my darn tough socks are several years old and still in good condition. I know that I can replace them free of charge if a hole develops but have never needed to use this option. This particular product is very thin with little cushioning. They grip well and the tab in the back is wide and tall enough to keep them from slipping down.

runs very small, uncomfortable material

The small was almost too tight to put on my size 7 foot. I was worried about ripping the stitching. The material was unexpectedly scratchy too.

Runs small & tight!

Loved the sock at first, but they run super tight! I always buy a large and these were no exception. I never put my socks in the dryer either, so that’s not it. I swear they fit like a child’s. Bummer.

My favorite running socks

I love these socks. When I first put them on I told my husband “I can’t believe I’ve waited all this time to buy some!” Definitely buying more as they’re the only socks we’ll all wear from now on

My new forever socks

Great compression, the tab in the back saved my ankles, very breathable (my feet didn’t even smell after an all day hike in the direct sun
