Comfortable sock, but lacks durability IMO
Unfortunately, I wore through a pair of these socks in about 6 weeks. I have very wide feet and this may be the cause of the issue, but in all honesty, it should have happened. I will say that they are very comfortable and the seem is positioned in such a way as to not irritate your toes. I returned the pair to Darn Tough for a warranty claim. Please note, that you have to pay for shipping yourself. This is probably a way for the company to limit bogus claims within their warranty dept.
Sizes are way off on Darn Tough products
These seemed like nice socks although the sizing is completely off. I typically wear size 8.5-9 shoes, so I ordered the medium, which is listed as size 8.5-9. It turned out to be at largest a size 6 compared to other brands and simply didn't fit. Also, for reference, I bought a pair of medium (size 6-9) Darn Tough no show socks at the same time and they were far too large. They might have qualified as a size 12 in other brands. Overall, very poor quality control in terms of individual sizes and in terms of having consistent sizing across Darn Tough products.
Great company!
These socks are durable and comfy but the best thing is when they wear out, you can ship them back to Darn Tough for a free replacements, over and over again. And they're made in Vermont.
Great on the run!
I bought these socks as a hike & run sock and they handle very well so far from 70-88 degree weather. I'm a size 9E and these are a perfect fit on my feet in size medium.
Best all-around sock there is
The Darn Tough Micro Crew Ultra-Lightweight socks are my new favorite socks. I wore these socks on an airplane (where they were comfortable), walking around New York City for a full day (20,000 steps and still comfortable), and running the next morning (where they were still wonderful)! They are thin, comfortable, and durable, and if I wear them out one day in the distant future, Darn Tough will send me another pair. You just can’t beat that commitment to quality!
Summer time go to sock.
I have many pairs of Darn Tough socks and these are my favorites in the summer time. They are thin and breathable and very comfortable to wear.

Darn tough to put on and darn tough to take off! If they last a long time my hands will get really strong.
Extremely durable
These are the only socks I wear, but I don’t cover my feet very frequently. Got three pairs the same color and design so I can rotate them until it’s time to do a full load of laundry. Love them.
Good for everyday wear
Good everyday sock, my husband wears them as a normal causal sock and they keep his feet comfortable and dry.
Darn weak
Look great but wore through them in 5 months. Inexplicable bad quality for something branded like this.
