What a pleasure skiing on the Rossignol Experience 86 Basalt in Val d'Isère this week. Is it possible for a ski to be smooth and stable yet light and playful? Yes! Rossignol succeeds in combining these attributes in the Basalt 86. I sampled several skis during the week and the Basalt 86 was my favorite. Smooth, stable, and never punishing. These skis brought a smile to my face.
Returning to skiing after a few years. Ski technology has improved and changed in the last 10+ years. These are a awesome choice to up grade my equipment. Quality ski that helped me return my skills to when I was 20. Such a difference and ease in hitting the slopes with these skis. Highly recommend.
Even while carving down groomers in less than ideal snow these skis gave me the confidence to have an incredible time on the mountain. With great edge feel and quick edge to edge ability they made my trip!
These are the best keys I have ever used I am a professional skier and will go on to compete in the Olympics so I appreciate it good ski tees are a great combination of huskies with easy controllability
I hired a pair of these skis last season and had a fantastic holiday. I have owned Rossignol 9S’s in the 90’s and was very disappointed when these were stolen. So have always enjoyed Rossignol skis.
I scanned the qsr code out of curiosity and the site is making me leave a review to continue. They look awesome, but I just got them and have yet to try them out. Very much looking forward to it!!
There are a good number of one ski wonders, I've tried most. From the era of Bandits, Head Monsters, things keep getting better. This '23 Experience has upped the game even from its '20 version
Was using the exp.84 for the last couple seasons then discovered a manufacturer defect. Covered fully by warranty and was upgraded to the exp 86 Basalt. I am not disappointed in the least.
The skis were a great feel. Only issue was the top laminate was peeling. Rossignol exchanged them without hesitation. No product has zero defects, but they stand with their product.
I did a demo day at Loveland Ski Resort in November 2022 and fell in love with these skis!! They are so light and carved so beautifully! They are a piece of highly functional art.
