A better, healthier alternative to soda and energy drinks.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work with automated equipment in a machine shop and need to be able to go from lifting heavy materials to operating CNC machines and adjusting tool path NC codes throughout the day. I need to be awake and focused and hydrated all day long. I stopped drinking caffeinated sodas last year because they got too expensive and are not all that healthy. I found that the Nuun hydration products which contain a small amount of caffeine give me just the right amount of energy around mid-afternoon to help me finish up a long day on the job. I find that these products don't seem to mess up my sleep as well.
Great flavor for your water
The ginger lime zing is my absolute favorite! But I have all the flavors ready to go for how I feel each morning. All the varieties have great flavor and they are easy to take for on the go travel.
My mistake.
My first sip I realized that I should have thoroughly read the ingredient list before purchase. One Word - Stevia ! Nasty !! Really Folks, Why bother? Surveys show most people prefer real sugar and honey sweeteners to the taste of Stevia . As a matter of fact, most people describe the after taste of Stevia as weird and unpleasant .
Hydration fuel
I used this product during indoor rides, which cause the to sweat a lot! I started testing this product by timing how long it took one tablet to dissolve. It was around 5 to 7 minutes. So I recommend getting your water set up and then getting ready for your workout. During my workouts while I hydrated, I didn't feel the heaviness I typically feel with plain water and I felt more refreshed than my normal endorphin rush. I attribute that to the caffeine I the product. Regarding the caffeine, I am someone who can only have 1 cup of coffee (or caffeine intake) a day or I get really shaky and feel sick. If I plan to workout, I don't have a morning cup of coffee and wait for my NUUN energy. The flavor is also light yet tasty, and not sweet and super sugary. Overall, I feel this product helps to hydrate and fill your body with the proper electrolytes to aid in your recovery. It also taste great and can be consumed, as you would a cup of coffee, for the caffeine. I highly recommend this product.
Nice green tea caffene
Taste is good, not to fruit punchy. I have used the NUUN tablets for years in my Camelback hydration system but never got this Caffeine one. Green Tea is fine and did not give me the shakes will out hiking. Its a keeper
Does the job
Tastes a little chalky. But I like that they have caffeine so it’s still worth it. I mix these with liquid IV in a 32oz Nalgene and that is pretty sweet.

Ginger lime zing Nuun Energy is my absolute favorite and I use it daily (monthly subscription) for electrolytes, B-vitamins, and clean caffeine. I used to buy 8-pack bundles that are no longer offered in this flavor. Like others mentioned, I too worry that they will discontinue the flavor. I beg you to keep my go to, everyday, substitute for unhealthy energy drinks.

I need it I drink it every day and it tastes and makes me feel great with the caffeine, ginseng, and B vitamins. This is the best flavor. I tell people all about it. My teeth are whiter since I don't drink coffee.
Perfect Amount of Caffein for that Morning Boost
