Cute, comfy, 10/10!

These pants are THE BEST. They hug you in all the right places, but aren’t too restrictive. I bike in them, hike in them - literally use them for everything. I’ve got two pairs (one from a few years ago and also got the newest model), and am loving the upgrade of a side zip to put knee pads on/take em off. I wear a size 10-12 in WR stuff and do recommend going on the smaller end of your size range, 10 fits me perfectly and I’m about 5’7, ~160 lbs.

the best women's bike pant

These pants have become a game-changer in my cycling wardrobe, thanks to one standout feature: deep pockets designed for my phone. These deep pockets are strategically placed and provide both convenience and security for my phone while I'm out on the road or on trails (I have an iPhone 14 Pro Max!!) Whether I need to stay connected, capture photos, or access essential apps, these pockets make it hassle-free. The stretchy fabric ensures my phone stays snug and secure, even during the more technical rides. In short, these pants were designed for women -- they combine style, comfort, and convenience in one package, making them an absolute essential!

Great pants!

Bought these even though the existing reviews mentioned a stiff waist. They fit perfect - my waist is 28/29” I ordered a size 6. The waist is not stretchy but it’s high enough up that I didn’t find it restricting or uncomfortable. I wore them outdoor rock climbing and the waist sits where my harness does so it felt perfectly fine. I love the reinforced knees and the velcro ankle closures that you can quickly undo and fold up for added ventilation. Fabric was thick but not noticeably hot (in 95 F + temps) and very flexible - I’m flexible and it moved easily with me. I think they’re kind of pricey in general but I’m happy with my investment. I’m looking forward to wearing them cycling…

Best Bike Pant

I absolutely love these pants for desert riding, DH laps, and cool days. I recently wore them on the Whole Enchilada and loved the skin protection they provided plus are super flattering. I always get compliments! And even if you end up working hard and sweating they breathe well!

MTB Pants Aren't Supposed to Look This Good!

I've gotten so many compliments on these pants. I've spent longer than I'd like to admit thinking about my requirements for mtb pants and these check all of the boxes, plus they look great doing it. They're comfortable yet durable, have ankle zip for knee pads and big zipper pockets. They're tight, but not too tight and versatile enough for every weather condition. I've worn them on a 40 degree day and a 70 degree day and was comfortable both days. I used to wear Troy Lee Lillium pants but these are definitely my go to now. They have everything the Lilliums have and more. I even bought a pair for my sister as a gift

In love with the Freyah pants!

I bought these pants on a whim before a trip to Bentonville this past spring. I am happy to report that these were an excellent purchase and one of my favorite pieces from Wild Rye. I have used these pants for both cross-country and downhill mountain biking and have found they perform well for both uses. I love the zipper and velcro on the bottom of the pants for putting on and taking off kneepads. The side pockets have come in handy every time I use these pants and I wish all my mountain biking shorts had them. I will likely use these pants for Nordic skiing this coming winter. In terms of sizing, I tried these pants on in both a size 6 and a size 8 before deciding to purchase them in a size 6. I am 5'8, 145 lbs with a 29" waist and 41" hips. Most of the bottoms I purchase are size medium and my other Wild Rye shorts are size 8 (mostly due to my hip width). These pants fit me like a dream and I regularly get comments on how well they fit. I once saw a YouTuber review these and call them "curvy girl friendly" and I agree. I highly recommend these pants and Wild Rye's products in general. Thank you REI for carrying clothing from this rad, woman-owned, B-corp business!

Great pants but waist isn’t adjustable at all

These are great pants and unfortunately the waist was too tight and I returned them for a different brand that has an adjustable waist. I have trouble finding pants that fit well, so this is my issue, not the pants, but it would be nice if the waist was more forgiving. It’s very fitted and somewhat of a stiff waistband. But everything else about these pants is great. The fabric is durable but not too stiff. I love the legs that roll up and secure with Velcro to accommodate different heights. Excellent feature.

MWaist too structured, otherwise fantastic!

These are close to my favorite pants!! I want them to make them so there is some give or adjustability to the waist. It’s so unforgiving, especially when riding. It would also be nice if they would unzip partway to become shorts.

Great fit and function... less fond of the flowers

High quality and super functional pants with great features, pockets, and FIT. Finally, a ride pant that fits in the thighs without being huge around the waist. Material is durable and moves well. The red color is great but not a fan of the girlie adornments - pink flower cuffs? no thanks.

Love how they fit and move!

Love the way they fit! As a curvy person, most MTB gear is not built for my shape. This is the first pair of full length pants that I have found that fit well through the thighs and hips but don’t gap weird at the waist. I love the accents on the cuffs too!
