Almost perfect
Yes , I recommend this product
These boots are comfortable and didn't require any break-in for me. They kept my feet warm and dry in teen temperatures in the Wasatch Mountains. They are rugged and durable and protected my feet from rocks and uneven terrain. If they had a deep lug pattern outsole they would be the perfect winter hiking boot.

Good boots for hiking in the cold.
They are comfortable right out of the box. Don't really require any break-in. I wear them snowshoeing and stay warm. Despite the "arctic" tread you will want micro-spikes or some kind of traction device on ice. They are not technical mountaineering boots.
