I absolutely love everything about this parka, except for the size. Unfortunately the XS is huge on my petite frame. The bottom bells out and looks really awkward and the torso is really roomy, but the arms are just the right length. For reference I'm 5'1" and wear an XS in Patagonia and North Face coats. The style of this one is exactly what I was looking for so I'm still giving it four stars! The material is pillowy soft and seems like it would be really warm and cozy. The length of the parka is a bit long for me but I would be okay with it, if the rest fit well. Sad it didn't work out!
I just received my black Luna insulated jacket & I’m already liking it! Initially I did not like the skirt-like bottom as the product picture (especially the colorful ones) makes it look so obvious but in reality it looks more subtle than it really is. I feel like I’m wearing a sleeping bag because it is so soft & comfy & warm! The deep pockets with zippers are nice features. I’m 5’5 around 120+ lbs & a small size fits perfect on my shoulder & still has room along my body so layering is no problem! The hood & higher neckline definitely provide good coverage especially during windy conditions. I would recommend this product & please take advantage of the extra 20% off before it ends! Enjoy!
I'm really happy with the length of this parka and the sleeves! I have long arms and hate cold wrists, and the sleeves on this keep me fully covered to my gloves or mittens. The coat blocks the wind from my thighs. It's warm but it's very light, so I am not worried about overheating when wearing it into a store for errands. The cut is great as it allows room for layers and for movement (and I'm on the upper end of the body measurements for my size). It's a puffy coat but still has a flattering shape.
I love this jacket, but the inside lining and pockets ripped early on after purchase making the pockets inoperable. And thus making this jacket much less usable. I lost my keys and this winter found them at the bottom of this jacket due to the large whole in the pocket.
...with little tiny arms. I wanted to love this coat. It's super warm and puffy, and the torso had plenty of room for layers without looking like you're wearing a marshmallow. But the sleeves are way too tight. I don't have particularly big wrists, but I couldn't pull the cuff back to look at my watch. Never mind wearing it over anything other than a base layer, which doesn't work for me.
This parka is exactly what I was looking for! It has even insulation, held up well in the rain (we’ve only had mild rain since I got it but I was impressed), and has a very well designed hood. I am very particular about how coat hoods fit. The little rain bill is the perfect size, not obstructive but functional, and the adjusting side bungees are genius. There is also plenty of pocket space. I agree with other reviews that the arms are a bit tight, which would be something to consider if that’s a concern for you. I usually order a size up for this reason and am satisfied with the arm fit. Overall, this is a great buy!
I absolutely love this coat. For a packable it's the warmest I've ever had. However it is not meant for 20 below but anything above zero I've been ok. The arms are a little narrow for me but not problematic. I highly recommend this coat for non Arctic use. 5'2 xs fits well
Its very pretty in the "Cloud" color as the gray has a tinge of light blue. The sleeves tuck neatly in gloves so no water or cold air gets in. The hood isnt over-sized and fits nicely. The shape if the coat resembles a skirt. Looks good for special events or playing in the snow. Fold small to fit in your bag for traveling to a winter destination.
This thing is like a sleeping bag Snuggie! It is so warm that I boil in it if I have the heat on in the car on my way to work in the negative amounts of degrees that it has been a few days here in Vail this winter.
Warm and light weight. I dislike the shade of green of the lining (it shows when the zipper is not all the way up); this should have been shown on the Big Agnes site. The green shade is not becoming on me but the purple is perfect. The coat otherwise is wonderful.
