Warm and Comfy!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love my Sorel Explorer II Joan winter boots. This brand runs true to size, so the fit is perfect. The style is amazing, and so is the color. The soles are thick, and non-skid. These boots are comfortable to walk in, and great for wearing all day. The top of the boots come up a couple of inches above my ankles, so there is good support. I love the fur lining around the tops. That is a fun touch. I find the boots easy to put on and take off. They keep my feet warm, even in the cold temperatures we get in Iowa. They are insulated and waterproof. I can't say enough about these boots. The price is actually a value considering that these boots will ensure warm, dry feet all winter long, regardless of the weather. I have gotten so many compliments and envious stares while wearing my Sorel boots! I highly recommend a pair for everyone, especially those who live in cold climates.
Beautiful and comfy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots came at the perfect time its just now starting to get cold and I normally wear flip flops so those are going to have to retire . These are so warm and absolutely comfy . I did need a break in period for about two weeks . They weren't worn regularly thats why it took so long , but after that I will never want my feet in another boot . They are also waterproof . They arent over made with fur lining so my feet are just the right temp and don't sweat . I love throwing these on when I head out for school drop offa and pickups . I've also have gotten compliments on them .
Warm and comfortable
I read the reviews and Sorel’s suggestion and ordered a full size larger. I normally wear a size 8 and have wide feet due to bunions. I ordered a size 9 and the shoe fits comfortably in the toe area and with thick wool socks. The shoes kept my feet warm in 20 degree weather (the coldest my area has had so far this season) and had good traction walking through snow and on icy ground. The shoe is also stylish and comes in different color options. I ordered the jet vapor color and didn’t notice the faint pink bottom trim but love it still. Would recommend the boot, but upsize!
Gorgeous boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sorel Women's Explorer II Joan boots are gorgeous! They are so comfortable and warm. There is a little fir accent on the tops, but they're lined with a flannel-like material. I love that feature! I also absolutely love that these Sorel brand boots are waterproof. No one likes leaky boots, especially when your goal is to stay warm in the cold weather. They have a nice grip sole and the design is beautiful. I like to dress in style and stay warm and comfortable at the same time and these boots fit the bill perfectly! Gorgeous, comfy and warm and fit my foot like a glove!
Warm & Comfortable!
I purchased these from a shoe shop in Clinton, IA and they are exactly as the reviews have stated. I am normally a 7.5 but I purchased a size 8. They were perfect fit! I have room for thicker socks too. I’ve owned Sorel Joan of Arc and was not a fan, but these are lightweight and super cute! I haven’t tried them in the snow yet but I purchased since I am moving to Northern Minnesota in January.

These shoes definitely run big as I ordered a whole size larger than I normally am. I absolutely love them! They are perfect four tying loose and slipping on and off (for walking the dog) without having to untie them each time or I can tie them tight if I’m going to wear them for an extended period of time. They are super comfy and are warm but don’t make my feet sweat. I’m over wearing Ugg’s as these are a little more dressy and not as sloppy looking. My new favs I haven’t taken off since I got them two weeks ago.
Comfy but small and narrow
These boots are very comfortable and warm, beautiful design. As I read, the laces don't stay tight for too long. I usually buy boots 8.5 (which is already half size up). I measured my feet, compared to my other boot sizes and still found them too tight in lenght and too narrow, my toes were uncomfortable. As I'm from Brazil and got them during a short visit to the US, I didn't have enough time to return them and get a half size up to see if would fit. I tried smoothing it up, taking to a place to loose a bit, but nothing worked. My toes still feel strangled. I also noticed some sort of defect on the left foot (photo) So, I recommend you check your size and if your feet is wide/narrow, your toes are too long or not. Would love to buy a new pair, but that will have to wait for another US visit.
Obsessed with these boots!
I saw a woman wearing these at the airport and loved how they looked so asked her about them. My pair arrived yesterday and I am obsessed. They fit perfectly with zero break-in time. I sized up a half a size. I am a medium width and had no problem with them being too narrow. They work with a medium weight sock for me. So comfortable, lightweight, and did I mention warm? They are perfect for winter walks with the dogs, running errands, and any other activity that demands both comfort and warmth. Thank you, Sorel, for making these! I might need another pair in a different color. :)
Super cozy
These are super cozy, and I love the traction on the sole. Great aesthetic…4 of 5 stars only bc toe box is a bit narrow. Im between 40-41 EU size, ordered a 10, and my big toe has about 1/2-3/4 inch to spare.
Extreme Comfort and Style!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely LOVE these boots! Not only are they positively gorgeous, but they are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever worn! The slate grey, suede exterior is so stylish. Plus it's incredibly weather resistant and completely waterproof. The thick and sturdy rubber soles have excellent tread and grip making it so easy for me to walk on slick or wet surfaces. And these boots keep my feet toasty warm even on the coldest of days. The super soft and plush insulation with faux fur trim feels as cozy as it looks. And I really love how lightweight these boots are. They feel more like the weight of sneakers instead of the heavy, clunky boots that I typically wear in the winter. These boots are so comfy that I seriously don't even want to take them off! The fit is perfect for me. Even with thicker socks, my normal size 6 fits great and my toes have plenty enough wiggle room. And I'm so impressed with the detailing on these boots. Everything down to the last stitch is perfection! These boots are top quality in everyway and I truly couldn't be more pleased with them! Highly recommended!!
