Comfortable but runs small

I had a grey pair from last year that I bought in my actual size (8). Definitely waterproof and warm but even with thin sock my toe hit the front. Could not exchange as it was a closeout. ThIs year I bought a black pair a half size and whole size up and the whole size up (9) was PERFECT. I can now wear my wool socks (still pretty thin) and have more room at the toe and foot in general. I have an "average" foot...this would be too snug on a wider foot. REALLY cute and I like the waterproof for wet weather. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 in shoes. I like to wear these instead of tennis shoes in cold weather.

Just not right for me. So disappointed

I sized up as other buyers urged. I wore these inside and then a short dog walk. The inside of both ankles hurt. I tried re-lacing. No success. Tried again this morning and the irritation was almost immediate. For me the problem is either the fabric connecting the tongue to the boot or the internal side of the metal grommets rubbing on my ankle. Or maybe both. Had that not happened, these would be great! They have plenty of cushion, kept my always-cold feet warm, and yes, looked great.

Size up, size up, size up!!!!

These only just came in the mail today, but they are comfortable so far and are really cute. I'm not usually one to leave reviews, but I really wanted to come on here and tell people to SIZE UP!! I usually wear a 7 or 7.5 depending on the shoe, but I went with an 8 just to give room for thick winter socks, but they are snug. I'm almost positive I wouldn't have fit into my normal size. I'm assuming they'll hopefully break in a little so I'm not going to go through the trouble of exchanging but if I could go back in time I'd definitely get an 8.5

Thankful for previous reviews

Thank you to everyone who previously reviewed this product, these came in JUST in time for an east coast holiday visit that I was stressing. I was so nervous they weren't going to fit. I followed the review to get an ENITRE size up (7.5) and they were perfect!! They definitely run small. I've had them two weeks now and they had no break in period, they were so comfortable out of the box. Perfect for tailgating, perfect for walks in the rain. I am going to purchase another pair when they come back in stock. 10/10. And they're SO CUTE

Size up

Like other reviewers have said, size up! I usually wear an 8.5 in most brands (Merrell, Nike, Adidas, Ugg, etc.) and I bought these in a 9.5. They fit snuggly with thick socks and perfectly with normal, everyday socks. They are so cute and the cushion in the sole is fabulous. Definitely recommend!

Not a legitimate laced boot for easy slip on ...

I purchased this style in two sizes 7 and 7 1/2. Because I have high arches I look for boots that are either laced or have an ample side zipper, preferably angled. I tried slipping my my foot into the boot but the tongue anchored to the side of the boot, rather high up on the boot, barred all efforts. The 7 happened to be the right size but I didn't even try on the 7 1/2 knowing it would be too large yet uncomfortable with that imposing anchored tongue--terrible design I would imagine for most.

Runs small, stiff boot

Based on other reviews I purchased these a size up (11) from my usual size (10). The length and width felt ok but the boot was very stiff and rubbed up against my ankle when I walked. It hurt just walking around the house so it wasn't worth trying to break them in. Sending back.

Small and painful

Runs small. I wear an 8.5 and bought a 9, but still too small. Also has a really firm piece of leather near the tongue on the inside that digs in at the ankles and hurts! So cute, but unfortunately need to return.

Ankle poking

These were largely comfortable, except the way the right shoe was built. Felt like a hardened nub of plastic poking my inner ankle the whole time. Returned.

Very comfortable

Very comfortable but high tops just don’t look good on me.
