Fits small :(
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I never have issues with shoes fitting my size 8.5 feet. This shoe is extremely tight even without socks around the foot but most of all my large toe was pinched. The shoe felt a half size too small. I found them a bit bulkier looking than expected. They look like a very good quality and have very good grip. (I did buy another boot aswell and that boot fit to size perfectly the yukiona boot. Not sure why the Sierra is tight like this). I would size half size up!
Comfortable but runs small
I had a grey pair from last year that I bought in my actual size (8). Definitely waterproof and warm but even with thin sock my toe hit the front. Could not exchange as it was a closeout. ThIs year I bought a black pair a half size and whole size up and the whole size up (9) was PERFECT. I can now wear my wool socks (still pretty thin) and have more room at the toe and foot in general. I have an "average" foot...this would be too snug on a wider foot. REALLY cute and I like the waterproof for wet weather. I normally wear a 7.5 or 8 in shoes. I like to wear these instead of tennis shoes in cold weather.
So soft and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They look cool and I love that the foot bed is nice and soft and has great cushion. So they look AND FEEL great. The only take away is that they feel a bit snug so you can't wear thick socks with them, but the fur inside makes it a fair compromise.
Works so well with snow

What I do want to add, though, is that I and my family have purchased both at your San Francisco flagship store, and online, many of your products through the years. In particular, your jackets are outstanding. Your materials and styles are of the best quality and last for an extremely long time. My only hope is that you continue to carry on this tradition of quality, wear, practicality and style. Three generations of our family have enjoyed owning North Face clothing, not only for skiing, hiking but for general wear.
These boots are the best things that I've ever purchased!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are awesome! They have so much cushion and are cozy warm. Best ever for watching a very cold and early soccer tournament. Walked through wet fields and my feet weren't the slightest bit damp. I looked at many different boots and am so glad that I purchased these.
Just not right for me. So disappointed
I sized up as other buyers urged. I wore these inside and then a short dog walk. The inside of both ankles hurt. I tried re-lacing. No success. Tried again this morning and the irritation was almost immediate. For me the problem is either the fabric connecting the tongue to the boot or the internal side of the metal grommets rubbing on my ankle. Or maybe both. Had that not happened, these would be great! They have plenty of cushion, kept my always-cold feet warm, and yes, looked great.
Comfortable and warm boots

Warm and comfy
