I love Osprey packs but this 12L pack is so much more bulky than our REI Tarn. It does hold a lot but I’ve been surprised at how huge it looks on our 5 yr old with relatively little supplies inside. People frequently worry she’s overloaded because it does appear large on her. I also wish it had a waist belt. I love the magnet clip for the water line and the daisy chain for clipping on camp shoes, a quick drying towel, etc.
Just what my grand daughter wanted for her hiking trips with the scouts
