Cute but SCRATCHY
Cute sweater (I mean...pockets AND thumb holes!!!), but has a bit of a weird cut around the shoulders/armpits. I ended up not keeping it cause it was too scratchy. Even weight a full length sleeve undershirt I don't think I could deal with the scratchiness around the neck.
ITCHY
Probably one of the itchiest sweaters I've ever owned. Also very boxy. I sized up when I probably could have kept my normal size.

Love the material and it doesn’t itch for me. I bought them in both colors and excited to take them hiking
Warm and Cozy
This is so warm and comfy. I love the thumb holes and pockets. Definetly recommend purchasing.
warm tight weave
Although I agree with another reviewer that the turtle neck initially seems pretty scratchy, after wearing it outside in 50 degree temp, even in the shade, with only a silk cami underneath I was very comfortable. If I was wearing it in a warm house I would def need to remove.

I’m so sad to be returning this sweater. I got it as a gift, and am returning for a few reasons. 1. It is SOO itchy. I mean so itchy. And 2, the pockets are extremely far back - so utilizing them is awkward, and the pockets buckle a tad - making the sweater stick out. I was concerned that it was too small (hence the buckling) but there was plenty of room everywhere else. So bummed as I LOVE REI gear - hopefully it fits others better!
Great surprise
I bought this sweater on a whim, mostly to get free shipping on the sweater I actually wanted. In the end, I kept this one and returned the other. It is thick and warm while still being surprisingly flattering. Yes, it is itchy but I wear a long sleeve mock neck shirt underneath and I have no issue.
Fit, function, quality
This is truly a wool sweater - itchy and stiff. Wear it with a mock-neck tech undershirt. It’s beautifully made, great quality, and will soften with use and proper care over time. Great for extended time in cold weather. This is a sweater I plan to own for life!
So itchy
I was so excited for this to arrive, but oh my god is it itchy. Also a boxy shape. I like the idea of a warm sweater, especially one with pockets, but this just doesn't fit the bill in any way. I returned it.
Best gift
Love this sweater! Fit is perfect and looks awesome! Wool is great for layering, with a cotton turtleneck underneath itchy is not an issue and it keeps you nice and toasty!
