Solid!
Upgraded to the RS from the regular maestrale’s and liking them a lot. I was looking for a stiffer flex without sacrificing weight and range of motion, and the RS delivers for me. I agree the flex is progressive, still that good ROM for the up and it helps me drive my skis better on the down. With the regular Maestrales I felt there was a lot to be desired on the downhill, especially spring skiing (warmer temps and different snow), I felt I couldn’t get the energy transfer to my skis as it was lost in the flex of the boot (I’m 6’1” 190 lbs). For 21/22 RS, definitely liking the redesign of the walk mode lever. Had some icing issues with my previous maestrales, wasn’t a huge deal but the redesign seems like it will be an improvement. The intuition liner is money. For comparison, I had tried on the Dynafit Radical, and as awesome as the hoji system is, and their liner is legit, maestrales just fit my feet better.
