The best Jacket in my opinion! I am very happy with it!
Great jacket for a snowboarder. Plenty of space to stow away items. Feels really light like a shell jacket but with some nice thin cushion spots. I wear it with a baselayer and tshirt. One thing 686, the main zipper needs love. It is a bit frustrating to lock in. I know there are better zippers out there in the outerwear world. It's holding this product back from achieving perfection. Great jacket, would buy again.
This jacket has a completely misleading name, despite it being called the Hydra is not Hydrastash compatible. Absolutely ridiculous for 686 to name the jacket the Hydra considering Hydrastash is something they have in their lineup. Otherwise fit and finish is great otherwise would've given it 5 stars. NAME IT ANYTHING ELSE!!!!
The fit was a little large on me (6'2'' and 210 lbs) as I got an XL but still believe that it will be a good fit once on the Mountain - I haven't had a chance to try it out on the slopes yet but love the style. Not sure about the insulation and believe this will be a lighter warmer (30 degrees or above) weather jacket.
The waterproof and the wind proof side is perfect, the tiny pocket is a little unclear of the purpose but it’s perfect for me for the passport. The added warmth is a nice surprise. Everything is really good except the zipper is pretty low quality, and it’s really hard to use especially if you have gloves on.
Fantastic! High quality, high comfort, holds and sheds heat well, and all performance and peripheral bases are covered with well-thought features. Initial concern that white-heather might be white - thankfully, it is a nice, light grey neutral. Overall, excellent product with excellent cost to value.
One of the best jackets out there. Great price, more than just a shell with the insulation on the inside by the chest which keeps you warm. The the right amount of features with the hand gators, pockets , vent at the top and the 20k waterproof and breatheabilty fabric is great quality
Jacket looks awesome. Hood is a little small if you have a huge head (and therefore a huge helmet) but still fits. Haven’t tested in the snow yet but quality looks spot on as usual. I’ll be sure to update this review after riding this weekend
Fits well, great color, light enough for warm days and leaves enough room in the fit for layering on colder days, and love the interior & exterior pocket layouts - overall 9/10, would recommend!
I had big issues with the zipper.. It was very difficult to get the two zippers connected to one another to zip up. The zippers need to be replaced with better zippers... I returned the Coat..
